Welcome to the Root Chakra Meditation.
Begin by finding yourself a comfortable place to lay or sit and close your eyes.
Just making any last minute adjustments so that you can be just a little bit more comfortable.
The Root Chakra is an area of security and connection to this life.
When imbalanced it can bring up anxiety and an ungroundedness.
I want you to start by scanning the body,
Just taking a moment to connect in with self.
No judgement,
Just an awareness.
Be aware of the breath and start to deepen and lengthen the breath,
Each breath becoming longer and stronger.
Take one last deep breath in,
Slowly exhale through the mouth completely letting go.
Take focus on your feet and start to travel down the layers of the earth all the way to the centre of the earth.
Once you arrive at the centre of the earth you see in front of you a wall of water.
You start to walk towards the wall and slowly step into it,
It feels cleansing as you walk through it is washing away the smog that has built up around your auric field,
Clearing and cleansing.
Once you step through to the other side you find yourself in the most beautiful place you have ever seen,
It is truly magical.
You take a moment just to take it all in.
In the distance you see the earth star chakra,
This chakra resides below your root chakra and within the earth.
You walk towards it as it radiates a bronze colour.
It activates and sends strings of light up,
Up,
Up,
All the way up to the chakra points on the soles of your feet,
You are now back in your body and taking focus on the feet as they glow with the earth star energy.
Start to send love down to the root chakra at the tailbone.
The root chakra comes alive with red light flowing down the legs and connecting with the earth star point in the feet.
Repeating the following affirmations,
I am safe and secure.
I am always supported and protected.
Take a moment to feel that in the body.
Take a moment to feel your body now,
How does it feel from before?
When you are ready come back slowly by moving your feet and hands.
