Transcript

Welcome.

Begin by settling into a comfortable position,

Seated or standing.

Feel your feet connected to the ground.

Provide some steady support.

Close your eyes softly or lower your gaze,

Averting them from the screen.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and a slow,

Calm exhale through the mouth.

Once more,

A gentle breath in through the nose and a gentle breath out through the mouth.

As you're breathing,

Become aware of your body.

Notice where you hold tension and relax your shoulders and soften your jaw.

Just let your body settle and your mind become clear.

Now gently shift your attention inward.

This upcoming conversation with your team member is an opportunity to connect,

To support and to inspire.

Let this understanding bring a sense of presence and purpose to you.

I'd like you to visualize a steady,

Warm light at the center of your chest.

This light represents your genuine intention to lead with empathy and clarity.

And as you breathe normally,

Feel this light gently expanding,

Filling your chest,

Calming your mind and expanding to your entire body and beyond.

Breathe in openness and patience and breathe out any expectations or tension.

Now silently affirm to yourself,

I am here to listen,

To understand and to uplift.

I create a safe space for honest conversation.

I trust in the value of presence and connection.

Take another deep breath in and just allow the sense of calm and purpose to fill you.

And when you're ready,

You can bring some awareness back to your body and gentle,

Moving your fingers and toes and just return to the present moment in your physical body.

Slowly open your eyes and just carry the sense of calm and confidence and the compassionate leadership that you are and that's in you with you.

You are now ready for your one-on-one conversation.

You're present,

Grounded and here to support and lead.
