This is a meditation on the Ajana chakra.
If you are driving or in a situation where you are unable to close your eyes or go within,
Please skip this section and listen at a time when stillness is an option.
Meditation on the Ajana chakra.
Begin by placing a lit candle directly in front of you at eye level.
Allow the body and mind to become quiet.
Feel yourself softening into a deep stillness and peace.
Allow the eyes to close.
Take in a few deep breaths and let them out very slowly.
Open the awareness to the third eye in the center of the forehead.
There,
Awaiting your awareness,
Is a whirling vortex of energy emanating a glowing vibration of the color violet.
This vibration generates outward as the Ajana chakra.
It invites us to open to the vastness of universal knowledge.
We then see beyond the Earth's qualities.
Mind qualities are revealed.
Observe the breath as it flows in and out with ease.
Slowly open the eyes halfway.
Begin to gaze at the light of the candle.
Allow the eyes and eyelids to remain relaxed and soft.
Resist the temptation to reach out and grasp the image with your vision.
Instead,
Allow the image to flow toward you.
At first the eyes may wander.
Slowly bring them back to the candle flame.
Continue to gaze outward.
The breath remains gentle.
If at any time you feel the need to blink,
Or if the eyes tear or feel any discomfort,
Allow them to gently close.
When ready,
Softly close the eyes.
With the eyes closed,
Observe the image of light as seen by the inner vision.
As the inner image begins to fade,
Allow the eyes to open.
Then to again gaze toward the external candle light.
After a few minutes,
Allow the eyes to close,
Drawing deep within.
Clearly see the image with the inner eye.
Be still as the light enters the eyes and floods your entire being.
If the mind starts to wander or bring in stories about the light or something totally unrelated,
Slowly bring the awareness back to the candle flame in front of you.
Let all the thoughts and the feelings drift into the background as you contemplate the sacred flame.
Repeat the sequence several times,
Gazing outward and gazing inward.
When you are able to keep the focus inward,
Gently allow the eyes to close.
Following the light as it goes deeper within,
Opening to the vastness of universal knowledge.
Feel your entire being illuminated with the knowledge that we are all one in the light.
Notice the universal light expanding as it moves through your body,
Enlivening each cell.
Observe your thoughts as they begin to glow with illumination.
Infused with cosmic light,
The emotions embrace their highest form.
Feel the radiance of violet,
The color of wisdom and knowledge,
Radiating a luminosity that infuses your entire being both inward and outward.
Use this moment to shine that divine light of wisdom on a particular situation that may be impacting your life.
Focusing the light on this issue,
Allow the light to shine a beacon of wisdom,
Resolving any misunderstanding or hurt.
Slowly begin to deepen the breath and feel awareness return to the body,
Mind and emotions.
Very gently bring the awareness back to the breath.
Allow the awareness to return to the Ajna chakra.
Create an affirmation allowing you to stay open to that newly acquainted divine light as it continues to impart the secrets of the universe.
Continue to sit quietly,
Cherishing the light that radiates outward as the Ajna chakra.
With the dawning of the inner sight,
We connect to the universal consciousness and experience oneness with all.
