We will now begin to meditate on the universal symbol of light.

Please have a comfortable seated position with the spine erect,

Not leaning to one side or another,

Forward or backward,

But sitting directly in the center.

Allow the eyes to close and begin to observe the body.

Check to see if the toes and feet,

Legs are relaxed.

The arms are resting comfortably on the legs with the palms up in a receiving position.

The shoulders are back.

Allow the abdomen to be soft,

The chest expanded,

The throat open.

And from the base of the spine,

Allow the energy to move up through the spine,

Into the neck to the base of the head.

Allow the jaw to be slightly open,

The tongue relaxed.

The eyes are closed and drawing inward.

The forehead and temples,

Ears and entire scalp are relaxed.

Begin to take in a few deep inhalations and let them out very slowly.

Observe the body relaxing and letting go.

Allow the breath to return to normal.

Observe it as it slowly flows in and out,

Easily,

Without hesitation or strain.

Slowly open the eyes and begin to gaze at a candle flame.

Begin to observe the breath.

On the inhalation,

Begin to draw that light into your heart.

Continue to draw the light into the heart until you see one continuous light from the candle to the heart.

As the light in the heart becomes brighter,

Allow the eyes to close and focus within.

Continue with each inhalation to see the flame in the heart brighten.

On the exhalation,

Allow that same light to go out to the world as love.

On the inhalation,

The light brightens.

On the exhalation,

Send that light out to the world as love.

On the exhalation,

Allow that same light to go out to the world as love.

On the exhalation,

Allow that same light to go out to the world as love.

On the exhalation,

Allow that same light to go out to the world as love.

On the exhalation,

Allow that same light to go out to the world as love.

On the exhalation,

Allow that same light to go out to the world as love.

On the exhalation,

Allow that same light to go out to the world as love.

On the exhalation,

Allow that same light to go out to the world as love.

On the exhalation,

Allow that same light to go out to the world as love.

On the exhalation,

Allow that same light to go out to the world as love.

On the exhalation,

Allow that same light to go out to the world as love.

Allow the light to grow and become the same size as the heart.

Continue to expand that light until it becomes the same size as the heart.

As the entire body,

The whole body is filled with light.

Allow that light to expand now beyond the periphery of the body.

Allow it to surround the body,

A body of light.

And continue to allow that light to expand until it fills the entire room with light.

And as you continue to inhale and exhale,

Allow that light to grow,

Expand past the room.

Let it now cover the entire world so every living thing in the world has access to this light and love.

Let it filter through the oceans and the streams,

The trees,

The air,

Surrounding the earth with that light and love.

Slowly and very gently begin to bring the awareness back to the breath.

Begin to slowly deepen the inhalation.

Become aware of the light back in your own heart.

Slowly allow the eyes to open just slightly.

Behold the first rays of light coming in.

Continue to slowly open the eyes and allow the light from within to shine out into the world.

Enuluishing peace and love.
