This is a meditation on the Vishuddha Chakra.
If you are driving or in a situation where you are unable to close your eyes or go within,
Please skip this section and listen at a time when stillness is an option.
Please allow the body and mind to become quiet.
Feel yourself softening into a deep stillness and peace.
Allow the eyes to close.
Taking the few deep breaths and let them out very slowly.
Bring the awareness to the throat center.
Where awaiting your awareness is a whirling vortex of energy emanating a glowing vibration of blue color reminiscent of the infinite sky.
This vibration generates outward as the Vishuddha Chakra.
It connects us to the force of purity,
Understanding,
And faith in our use of it.
Observe the breath as it flows in and out with ease.
Listen to the swishing sound it makes as it enters the body through the inhalation.
Sow.
Hear the sound as it leaves the body on the exhalation.
Hum.
Be still and listen to the sounds of the vital life force entering and leaving your being.
Inhale Sow.
Exhale Hum.
Inhale Sow.
Exhale Hum.
Sow Hum.
Exhale until the sound is well established.
Inhale Sow.
And with the next exhale,
Begin to softly repeat Hum aloud.
The mantra Hum can be said as a word or create a humming sound and repeat that.
Continue to hear Sow on the inhalation and audibly repeat Hum on the exhalation.
With each repetition,
Imagine yourself standing on the earth gazing at the infinite blue sky.
Hear the humming sound vibrating through the air and ether,
Infusing prana through your body,
Mind,
And senses.
Imagine it gracing us with the ability to understand even that which is beyond understanding.
Feel your entire being illuminated with faith in both the known and unknown.
Continue to repeat Hum as the prana merges with the pulsating universe.
The universal energy pulsates through your body,
Enlivening each cell.
The thoughts begin to vibrate with the rhythm.
The emotions let go and dance to the beat.
Feel the serene energy attracting clarity.
Use this moment to shine that clarity on a particular situation that may be impacting your life.
Focus the sound vibration on this issue.
Allow the mantra Hum to shine a beacon of clarity,
Resolving any misunderstanding.
Begin to focus on the blue color of the Vishuddha chakra.
Believe its vastness and notice as luminosity radiates both inward and outward.
Appreciate our developed sense of hearing through the sounds of nature,
Beautiful music,
Precious words and voices.
Allow the verbal repetition of Hum to quiet as you draw inward.
Listen to the mantra as it is silently repeated deep within.
The singular sound,
Once repeated aloud,
Merges with the sound of the universe,
Called as Pranava.
Be still and listen as the universal sound,
The Pranava,
Reverberates.
Allow the sound to become the vibration that continues to reverberate into infinity.
As So Hum continues,
Notice how the body is enriched by the vibration.
The mind and emotions calm when infused with the cosmic vibration.
Experience the radiance of the blue sky,
The color of understanding and purity,
As it infuses your entire being.
Bring the awareness gently back to the throat center at the Vishuddha chakra.
Slowly and very gently bring the awareness back to the breath.
Feel the awareness return to body,
Mind and emotions.
Continue to sit quietly for a few minutes as the scope of the universal sound,
Pranava,
Transmitted from the Vishuddha chakra,
Radiates outward.
Repeat an affirmation allowing So Hum to continually vibrate in tune with the universe.
Connecting to the sound of the universe,
We experience oneness.
Namaste,
When I am in the place of love and oneness,
I understand everything.
Namaste.
