I hope you enjoy this somatic breathing body guided meditation. It is simple, rejuvenating, and nurturing. I find it very helpful, so I created this to share for rest and vitality. I'd like to thank my friend Avishai Barnatan for the recording and the music.

This meditation is a gentle tool for support and greater ease in the body.

Generally I'm working with natural breath and the innate intelligence of the body to breathe when it needs to.

This exploration is a tiny bit different.

It is my experience that sometimes with accumulated stress the body can use a little support and guidance to come back to healthy regulation,

To move towards natural ease and calm.

When the breath is free and flowing there is an oceanic quality and this quality directly influences all other systems in the body.

This is a simple meditation working with the prana,

The life force.

Lie down in a place and space where you will not be disturbed and enjoy this soothing somatic journey.

Taking the time to get comfortable,

Cozy,

Making all the small adjustments that you need so you find yourself the most comfortable you can be at this moment.

As we start to focus and bring our attention to inside the space of the body,

We begin to scan and to track what is happening now.

What is the general feeling tone of the body as you begin to scan?

Just as it is.

Can you find a really comfortable place in the body?

Even if it's just a little toe.

Is there a place in the body that feels the most coherence,

Comfortable and at ease?

Just noticing.

Bringing your attention to a place that is a little less comfortable.

It might be aching or painful.

Bringing your attention to rest for a moment on this place.

Seeing the tone of this place.

Possibly a pulse.

And then switching back,

Pendulating,

Returning to the place that is the most comfortable.

It just feels good.

What does this goodness feel like?

Take your time.

Allowing this goodness to spread.

Going down.

Bringing your attention to your breath.

Is it long or short?

Is it full and deep?

Or shallow and constricted?

Noticing.

Without trying to change anything simply by bringing your awareness to your breath.

Placing the attention on the inhalation.

As if you are sipping breath,

Drinking the prana,

The life force.

Begin to expand the inhalation ever so slightly.

Expanding the belly on this inhalation and feeding this breath into the body.

Exhalation naturally following.

Inhalation,

Expanding the edges of the breath into the form of your body,

Gently drinking in a little more prana.

Natural exhalation.

Oxygenating the places that are challenging in the body.

Taking the time to drink in the life force,

The prana.

Fending with your breath vitality to these places that are thirsty,

Especially on the inhalation.

Walk these paths,

And favorite these passages,

And go on.

Breathing through the belly,

Into the pelvis and the legs.

The feet.

Breathing into the belly.

The torso.

The chest.

Drinking in the breath.

Into the arms.

The hands.

Shoulders.

Neck.

And head.

Slowly resuming normal breath.

Simply breathing.

Nurturing the whole body.

Notice the sensations of oxygen feeding the whole system.

Oxygenating all the cells in the body.

Bringing life force.

Life nutrients.

Healing the cells.

Allowing optimal vibrancy.

Simply noticing what you've experienced.

Thank you.

Just loved this ~ perfect timing. Too little sleep last night, irritable and impatient this morning. Thank you for slowing me down. Relaxed now and ready to shift. Namaste πŸŒΊπŸ™πŸŒΊ
