Thank you for joining me today for the ocean meditation.
Get into a comfortable space,
You can be lying down or sitting in a chair.
Bring your awareness to your breath.
Notice how it sounds like the ocean,
Rolling in and rolling out.
Imagine you are sitting on a beach,
Feeling a gentle warmth from the sun,
Smelling the salty sea breeze that goes by.
As you watch the ocean,
Notice the tide rolling in and rolling out.
Feel the warm,
Soft sand beneath you.
Notice the blue of the sky and hear the call of the birds as they go by.
Bring your attention back to the sound of the gentle tide rolling in and rolling out.
With each inhale,
The tide rises and you are filled with compassion and joy.
As the tide recedes,
Your exhale follows,
Washing away any sadness or pain that you might be carrying.
Breathing in as the tide rises and fills you with joy and compassion.
Breathing out as you release anything that does not serve you.
The waves bring in contentment and you breathe out control as it recedes into the ocean.
Breathe in faith as the tide rises and you breathe out fear,
Washing it away.
The tide rises and you inhale healing.
The tide recedes and you exhale darkness.
Continuing with your own breath,
Inhaling what fills you and exhaling what you no longer need.
Bringing yourself back to a gentle stillness.
Letting gentle movement into the fingers,
The toes.
Gently opening your eyes and coming back into the space,
The physical space.
Giving gratitude for yourself for showing up for this meditation.
