Welcome to this inner child healing meditation,

Where you will have the opportunity to visit moments from your past,

Meet your precious inner child and offer them the gift of healing through the ancient practice of Ho'oponopono.

Find a comfortable position,

Whether lying down or seated,

Allowing your body to settle into a state of ease.

Gently close your eyes and surrender to the serenity of the moment.

Shift your awareness to your breath,

Inhaling and exhaling deeply three times.

Inhale slowly through your nose and exhale through your mouth.

Feel the gentle rise and fall of your belly as you breathe in and out.

Release any tension you may be holding onto with each exhale.

Now take a moment to scan your body.

Start from your feet,

Traveling up through your shins,

Thighs,

Hips,

Abdomen.

Feel your chest.

Pause here for a moment to feel and hear your heartbeat.

Feel your entire back.

Relax your shoulders.

Relax your neck.

Your hands.

Your face.

And head.

Allow each part of your body to soften and relax.

Now I invite you to engage your imagination as you envision holding your childhood photo album.

Notice the color,

Texture and weight of the album in your hands.

Open it and gaze at the pictures inside.

Choose one that draws you in.

The one that speaks to your heart.

As you gaze upon the chosen photograph,

Observe the emotions reflected in your younger self's face.

Is it a joy?

Sadness?

Fear?

Or anger?

Take in the surroundings depicted in the photo.

Where are you?

And who is with you?

Bring this scene to the life in your mind,

Immersing yourself in the moment.

Now try to establish a connection with your inner child.

Slowly look at them and get a feeling sense of this child.

How old are they?

What color are their eyes?

What color are their hair?

What are they wearing?

Talk to this child.

Ask about their favorite toys,

Pets or games.

Listen attentively to their responses.

Inquire about how your inner child is feeling and what they need in this moment.

Be patient as you await their responses.

They may request a hug,

A hand to hold or simply the opportunity to play together.

Honor their wishes with compassion and understanding.

Also take a note of the sensations arising within your own body as you interact with your inner child.

Allow yourself to fully experience any emotions that surface,

Whether they bring tears or laughter.

As you connect with your inner child,

If it feels right,

Lower yourself to your knees.

Look into the eyes of your inner child and offer the following prayer of Ho'oponopono.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

I am so sorry for the times when you felt scared,

Alone or misunderstood.

I am sorry for any hurtful words or actions that wounded your innocent heart.

Please forgive me.

For not always protecting you and for any moments when I let you down.

Please forgive me.

For any ways in which I have overlooked your needs.

For the times I may have silenced your voice or dismissed your emotions.

Thank you.

For being resilient.

For bravely navigating through the challenges of the past.

Thank you.

For holding on to hope.

And for still shining brightly within me.

I love you.

Unconditionally.

Just as you are.

With all your vulnerabilities and imperfections.

I love you.

And I am here for you.

Now and forever.

Together let us heal and grow.

Releasing the burdens of the past.

And embracing a future filled with love,

Joy and possibility.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

Allow these words to resonate deeply within you.

Offering solace and healing to your inner child.

Trust in the power of this prayer.

To bring about transformation and renewal.

Both within yourself and in your relationship with your inner child.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

As the meditation nears its conclusion.

Offer your inner child the space in your heart.

Invite them to accompany you into the present moment.

Alternatively,

Bid them farewell with a promise to return whenever they desire your company.

I am sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

I love you.

I love you.

Now bring your attention back to your breath.

Feeling the rhythm of inhales and exhales.

Notice the sensations in your body.

And the emotions that linger from experience.

Allow yourself to sit with these feelings for as long as you need.

You may choose to express your reflection through art or journaling.

Follow the wishes of your heart.

Opening your eyes when you feel ready to return to the present moment.
