Welcome to another guided meditation and today we are going to go on a beautiful journey which will help you connect with your playful and joyful inner child.
Do not listen to this meditation when your mind requires your conscious attention.
So sit comfortably now on a chair or lay on a bed.
And I know you can easily broaden your imagination as you continue to listen to each of what I say.
Before you imagine anything,
I would like you to take a deep breath.
Inhale deeply from your nose and exhale from your mouth.
And when you take the second deep breath,
I would like you to bring your attention to the rise of your stomach when you inhale and then fall of your stomach when you exhale.
So take the second deep breath now.
And exhale.
That's right.
Now take the third deep breath.
Inhale deeply from your nose and exhale.
Now come back to your normal breathing pattern.
And I wonder if you know that there is a very creative part of you that helps you imagine dream and also helps you daydream.
It helps you in dancing,
Singing,
Writing and coming up with ideas.
And that part is going to take you to an inner journey where you will meet your younger self.
And I wonder if you can imagine sitting on a large fluffy cloud.
The cloud has a lovely and warm feel to it.
And it's a cloud that you have not really seen before ever.
When you look at it,
You notice its many colors.
And you feel that it perhaps belongs to a special world.
And as you imagine,
Visualize or notice yourself sitting on it,
You know you're safe and secure.
Because it is the sturdiest cloud ever,
Yet very soft and cushiony.
And as you sit on the cloud,
You have a bird's eye view of the earth.
And it looks gorgeous.
In a moment I'm going to count down from 10 down to zero with each count down.
The cloud is going to descend and take you to the most amazing garden.
Perhaps the garden your mind wants to create,
Which seems magical,
Colorful and fills you with excitement.
So starting now,
10,
The cloud starts to descend.
9,
As you notice the softness of this cushiony cloud,
You feel more and more relaxed as you descend down and down deeper and deeper.
8,
You notice your excitement for exploring this magical garden,
Increasing with every count down,
With every breath you take.
7,
You're beginning to feel lighter and even more relaxed.
6,
With every count down you're opening your heart to experience something new and feel great about that.
5,
You're halfway to the garden and the curiosity in you doubles up.
4,
You can now feel your physical body relaxing even more.
3,
Notice the softness of the cloud and how close you are to the garden.
2,
You're almost there,
1,
Reaching the garden in a moment and 0,
Now you've landed in this beautiful magical garden and the first thing that you can feel is the dewy grass beneath it.
Look around you and notice the gorgeous flowers,
The vibrant colours,
The green grass,
The tall trees,
The exotic birds and butterflies and the lovely breeze that gently touches your skin.
You continue to explore this garden,
You notice that as you walk around there is a bird which looks extremely exotic,
Comes closer to you and starts to hover around you.
You extend your hand and the bird comes and sits on your palm and as she sits you look at its colours,
Eyes,
Beak and feathers.
You wonder about this marvellous creation of the universe.
In a moment the bird flies back to one of the trees and hops around the tree and on the branches and continues to sing a pleasant song.
When you look around you feel absolutely safe,
Calm and relaxed.
As you walk ahead in the garden you notice that in the garden at one side there is a playground with colourful swings and slides and on one of the slides you notice your younger self sliding,
Laughing and feeling absolutely happy.
The child doesn't have any thoughts about what to do in life and how to move through a difficult situation.
The child only knows about happiness,
Joy,
Laughter and freedom.
In a moment you notice the child looking at you with curious eyes and it's calling you so that you can play and have fun with them.
As you walk towards the child you notice the child running towards you to give you a tight hug and you sit on your knees and hug the child and give it back even more warmth and love and affection and care.
You can say whatever you want to say to the child,
Talk to the child about their strengths,
Qualities and attitude and say I love you unconditionally.
And as you allow this feeling of joy and excitement to sink in you will begin to notice that the child starts to melt into you,
Slowly integrating into you and becoming one with you.
The child will stay in your heart forever and you will always take care of this child.
And as you continue to embrace yourself and allow the child to become one with you,
Say to your inner child and keep on repeating I love you.
I'm now going to leave you here for a few moments so that you enjoy this beautiful state of relaxation with your inner child.
In a moment I'm going to count you up from one to five at five.
You will be fully awake,
Feeling great about yourself,
Happy to know that your child is now with you and you will always take care of that inner child,
Always protected,
Always guided.
So start coming up with one,
Higher up with two,
Further up with three,
All your mental,
Emotional,
Physical,
Spiritual bodies aligned at four,
At five,
Eyes open,
Wide awake.
