Welcome to this brief but powerful guided meditation for anxiety relief.
Take a moment to settle into your position.
Let your body be supported.
Take a slow breath in through your nose and exhale gently through your mouth.
Again,
Inhale and release.
One more time,
Inhale deeply and let everything go.
Let your breathing return to normal.
Now bring your attention to your body.
Notice where you feel tension.
Your chest,
Your stomach,
Your shoulders.
There is no need to change anything yet.
Just observe.
Anxiety is not something you need to fight in this moment.
It is something you can sit with.
Something you can allow without letting it take control.
Now bring your breath into the area where you feel it most.
Inhale slowly and exhale gently.
Again,
Inhale into that space and soften as you release.
Say quietly,
I am safe in this moment.
Even if I feel uncomfortable,
I am still okay.
This feeling does not define me.
Notice how those words land.
You don't need to force belief.
Just allow the possibility.
Now notice your thoughts.
They may be moving quickly.
They may feel urgent.
But not every thought needs your attention.
Imagine your thoughts as passing objects.
Cars moving along a road.
You don't need to chase them.
You can just watch them pass.
Say quietly,
I don't need to follow every thought.
I can observe without reacting.
I can return to my breath.
Now come back to your breathing.
Inhale slowly and exhale fully.
Each breath creates space.
Space in your body.
Space in your mind.
And in that space,
There is calm.
Even if it's small.
Even if it's brief.
It is there.
Stay with that.
You don't need to rush out of this moment.
You don't need to fix everything.
Right now,
You are breathing.
Right now,
You are here.
And that is enough.
Now gently repeat,
I can handle this moment.
I don't need to control everything.
I am steady.
Even when things feel uncertain.
Let those words settle.
Feel your body again.
Your feet.
Your hands.
Your posture.
You are grounded.
You are present.
Stay here for a few more breaths.
And remember,
You can return to this whenever you need.
Each time,
It becomes easier to come back to yourself.
Move forward with a sense of steadiness.
Be well.
