So now just taking a moment to find a comfortable seat and choosing a position in which you think you'll be relatively comfortable for the next 35 minutes or so.

Of course you can move if you need to.

And allowing your back to be straight but not rigid.

Your eyes can be open or closed if you think you can meditate without falling asleep.

You can keep them closed.

And if your eyes are open just rest your gaze in front of you down,

Lowered gaze on the floor maybe two to three or three to four feet in front of you.

And keeping the gaze soft and unfocused.

And then allowing the busy thinking mind to dissolve down into the feeling body.

Feeling that dissolution down into the feeling of the body sitting on the cushion or the chair just like a handful of salt poured into a warm glass of water.

And just feeling the busy energy of the mind dropping down into the feeling of the body.

And in particular see if you can contact whatever sensation is there in the place where your body meets the cushion or the chair.

Just noticing whatever sensation is present.

It might be a feeling of pressure or heat,

Warmth.

Whatever it is just allowing your awareness to rest right with that sensation.

Okay,

Let's squat.

And if you find that you have become distracted and caught up in thoughts,

Or other feelings,

Just allow that sensation wherever your body connects to the cushion or the chair to draw you back to it.

See just how much you can settle down into that sensation,

Whatever it is.

See just how much you can settle down into that sensation,

Whatever it is.

See just how much you can settle down into that sensation,

Whatever it is.

See if you can also allow the rest of your body to relax around the sensation and into this sensation.

See just how much you can settle down into that sensation and into this sensation.

See just how much you can settle down into that sensation and into this sensation and into this sensation.

See just how much you can settle down into that sensation and into this sensation and into this sensation.

See just how much you can settle down into that sensation and into this sensation and into this sensation.

See just how much you can settle down into that sensation and into this sensation and into this sensation.

Now allowing yourself to sense down even more deeply down into the earth beneath you,

Almost as if your body is growing roots down into the earth.

Noticing the earth's ability to support and hold us.

And from this place of rootedness in the earth,

We'll begin chanting the Tara Mantra.

If you know the tune,

Join in right away.

If you don't,

You might just want to listen for a few minutes first.

And then sending energy out as we chant to the folks at Standing Rock,

If you are so inspired for peaceful resolution,

For healing,

For support,

And then out to all beings in the world who need exactly those same things.

Om Tare Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Oore So Ha Om Tare Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re Just allowing yourself to rest with the overall feeling of aliveness in the body.

Maybe the aliveness that's been awoken through the chanting,

Just resting with whatever sensation is there.

So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re So Ha Om Tare E Tu Tare Tu Re Now allowing your awareness to move to the feeling of the breath,

The feeling of the breath as it flows into the body and as it flows out of the body.

Coming to rest with the feeling of the breath flowing into the body and flowing out of the body.

See how much you can tune in to the feeling of the body breathing.

Just the natural breathing.

Whatever it is,

Fast or slow or deep or shallow,

Don't try to alter it.

You're just tuning into the feeling of the body breathing.

You're just tuning into the feeling of the body breathing.

You're just tuning into the feeling of the body breathing.

If you become distracted,

If you lose awareness of the breath,

Just allow the feeling of the body breathing to draw you back to it.

You're just tuning into the feeling of the breath.

You're just tuning into the feeling of the breath.

You're just tuning into the feeling of the breath.

You're just tuning into the feeling of the breath.

You're just tuning into the feeling of the breath.

You're just tuning into the feeling of the breath.

You're just tuning into the feeling of the breath.

You're just tuning into the feeling of the breath.

You're just tuning into the feeling of the breath.
