Welcome with this Yoga Nidra practice.
Yoga Nidra is a practice of conscious relaxation that allows you to deeply relax while remaining fully aware.
During this session you will be guided to a journey of relaxation,
Self-discovery and healing.
The focus of today's practice is on the soothing and loving energy of rose quartz,
A beautiful pink crystal known for its heart opening properties.
Please find a comfortable and relaxed position lying down on your back with your arms slightly away from your body and your palms facing up.
Have your legs slightly apart.
Close your eyes gently and just take a moment to settle in.
Let's begin by becoming aware of your breath.
Take a few deep and calming breaths,
Allowing the inhalation and exhalation to be smooth and natural.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest and abdomen as you breathe in and out.
Visualize a gentle loving energy surrounding you,
Like a soft pink light.
This is the energy of rose quartz,
Known for its capacity to promote love,
Compassion and healing.
Imagine this beautiful pink energy descending from above,
Slowly around your entire body,
Putting you in a warm loving embrace.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Bring your awareness to your right hand.
Feel the relaxing and loving energy flowing into your right hand.
Move your awareness now to your right wrist,
Your right forearm.
Sense the comforting energy of the rose quartz filling your entire right arm.
Bring your attention to your right shoulder.
Feel all the tension melting away as the soothing pink light baths your shoulder in love.
Now focus on your left hand.
Sense the relaxation and the warm loving energy filling your entire left hand.
Now move your awareness to your left wrist,
To your left forearm.
Feel the comforting energy of rose quartz flowing through your entire left arm.
Now bring your attention to your left shoulder.
Feel the tension releasing as the gentle pink light embraces your entire left shoulder.
Direct your awareness to your chest and upper back.
Visualize your heart center glowing with the loving energy of rose quartz.
Now repeat the following affirmations in your mind.
My heart is open to love and compassion.
I am surrounded by the healing energy of rose quartz.
I am worthy of love and happiness.
Now let's continue our journey downwards.
Focus on your abdomen and lower back,
Allowing the loving energy of rose quartz to release any tension and promote a sense of well-being.
Bring your attention to your pelvis and your hips and feel the soothing pink light flowing through this area,
Nurturing and healing.
Shift your focus to your legs.
Start with your right thigh,
Then your right chin and calf and feel the gentle loving energy of rose quartz in your right leg.
Move to your right foot.
Sense relaxation and the warm comforting energy in your right foot.
Now shift your awareness to your left thigh,
Your left chin and your calf.
Feel the soothing pink light of rose quartz flowing through your left leg.
Finally bring your attention to your left foot.
Feel the relaxation and the loving energy of rose quartz in your left foot.
Imagine your entire body being enveloped in a soft pink cocoon of rose quartz,
Filled with love,
Self-love,
Compassion and healing.
As you rest in this state of deep relaxation,
Repeat the following affirmation silently.
I am open to give and receive love.
The rose quartz energy surrounds me with its healing embrace.
I am at peace with myself and others.
Now visualize yourself in a serene garden filled with blooming roses.
Their petals are glistening with the soft pink light of rose quartz.
You are safe,
You are loved,
You are peaceful.
Now slowly bring your awareness back to your breath.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest and abdomen as you breathe in and out.
Invite in all this loving energy and know that you are so loved.
Inhale all the love and with every exhale spread this love around you.
Inhale love and exhale spread love around you.
And now whenever you are ready you can begin to gently move your fingers and your toes.
Bring your hands to your chest,
Put your left hand on your heart and your right hand on top and feel your own heartbeat.
Take a moment to feel all this love.
How you are completely filled with the loving energy of the rose quartz.
And then gently put your hands over your head and stretch your entire body from your toes to your fingertips.
And then slowly,
Slowly open your eyes and return to the present moment.
This yoga nidra session is now coming to an end and I hope that you may carry the loving and healing energy of rose quartz with you throughout your day.
