Welcome,
My name is Nathalie and today I will be guiding you to a throat chakra meditation.
We will be focusing on Vishuddha chakra,
The center for communication and truth.
This meditation is designed to help clear any blockages,
To support both physical health as well as the energy of our expression.
Many of us might be feeling a bit of a discomfort around the throat area,
Maybe a cold,
Maybe a sour throat.
This is actually our body's way of telling us that we need to take care of this area.
So this practice will both help you to boost your immunity and also enhance your ability to communicate with clarity and confidence.
You can do this meditation seated,
Using the comfort of some blankets,
A bolster,
Pillows.
Pillows,
Maybe you want to be supported by the wall,
But you can also lay down.
First I would like to ask you to take a deep breath in.
Inhale through your nose,
Let your belly and chest expand fully and as you exhale gently bring your chin down towards your chest.
Lengthen the back of your neck.
This simple movement releases the throat area and enhances the flow of breath and this supports our immunity.
Continue to breathe like this.
So every time you exhale you bring your chin back to your chest and every time you inhale you bring your chin back in neutral position.
Inhale through the nose and exhale through the nose and bring your chin to your chest.
Now come back in neutral position and place one hand gently on your throat.
And the other one on the upper part of your chest just over your collarbones.
And as you breathe imagine your hands warming this area boosting your immune system and comforting your throat.
Feel a sense of protection and healing energy radiating from your hands into this space.
Now close your eyes,
Bring your hands to your knees if you're seated or next to you.
If you're lying down and focus on the base of your throat visualize a soft blue light swirling like water.
This blue light is the energy of Yujuda,
Your throat chakra,
Inviting openness and easy communication.
As you breathe in see this blue light grow bigger,
Brighter and more vivid spreading through your entire throat and neck area.
Feel it expanding,
Opening up all pathways for you to speak your truth and clear any energetic or physical blockages.
With each exhale let go of any tension,
Worry or unexpressed thoughts.
And now gently lower your chin to your chest and repeat the mantra hum within yourself.
Hum Hum Hum Hum Hum Continue to do so and with each repetition feel it vibrate through your throat,
Soften all the tightness that you have there and create space.
You can release the sound.
Now you will hear three affirmations that you can repeat out loud or silently.
I am free to speak my truth with clarity and confidence.
My voice is a powerful tool for self-expression.
I release any fear of being heard and allow my authentic voice to shine.
As you sit with this blue light in your throat area imagine it how it's expanding to cover your entire head,
Your neck,
Your chest and see this light as a protective shield supporting your immune system and strengthening the body's defense.
It is both a healer and a protector and a protector helping to ease any congestion or tension.
Now slowly lift your chin and place both hands on your throat again thanking your body for its wisdom in guiding you to this moment.
Thank Vishuddha for allowing your voice to be heard and respected.
Feel gratitude for the healing energy that you've invited into the space today bringing clarity,
Strength and well-being.
And before we close off I want to share a powerful hand mudra for immunity.
Called prana mudra.
This mudra is known to activate and balance the body's life force energy boosting vitality and resilience.
So now you really have to sit up if you're lying down I would like you can also listen to my voice and then repeat it on your own time.
So you sit comfortably either on the floor or on a chair and you bring the tips of your ring finger and your little finger to touch the tip of your thumb.
So I repeat bring the tip of your ring finger and little finger to touch the tip of your thumb.
Keep your index and middle finger extended straight.
Now close your eyes and take slow deep breaths.
So you're doing this with both hands and with every inhale you visualize the life force energy flowing into your body.
How your immune system is revitalized.
And as you exhale imagine any stagnant or blockage dissolve.
You need to hold this mudra for 5 to 15 minutes daily for an optimal effect.
You can practice this mudra while focusing on your throat chakra or anytime you want an immunity boost.
Prana mudra is actually a great addition to the work we just have done on your throat chakra as it will enhance the overall vitality of your body.
So it will be easier to resist the cold or any other seasonal illnesses.
Let me know how this helped you and I wish you an amazing rest of your day.
And remember you can always come back to this practice whenever you feel like your throat needs a boost.
Until next time,
Namaste.
