Welcome to this New Moon Meditation.
My name is Nathalie and today I will be guiding you through this New Moon Meditation for the New Moon in Libra.
Find a comfortable quiet space where you won't be disturbed.
You may choose to sit or lie down,
Whichever feels most relaxing and safe for you.
If you choose to remain seated,
Rest your hands gently on your thighs or in your lap.
And if you choose to lie down,
Allow your arms to rest beside you,
Palms facing upwards in a gesture of receiving.
Close your eyes softly and begin by bringing your awareness inward.
Take a moment to fully arrive in this space.
Feel the weight of your body being supported by the earth beneath you.
Rest in the ground,
The chair or the mat to hold you completely.
There is nothing you need to do right now other than to be here,
Present and open to this moment.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Fill your lungs completely.
Feel the cool air move into your body,
Filling you with new energy.
Hold the breath for a moment and when you are ready,
Gently release it through your mouth,
Letting go of any tension or stress.
Do this one more time,
Inhale through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Imagine yourself slowly sinking into this space,
Feeling more and more relaxed with each breath.
Allow the breath to move naturally and feel your body begin to soften.
Feel how your jaw is unclenched,
How your shoulders are melting down and also your legs are releasing all tension.
There is nothing you need to hold on to right now.
We will begin our practice today with a breathing technique,
Perfect for the energy of the new moon in Libra,
A sign known for its focus on balance and harmony.
The breath we will use is called Harmony Breath,
A form of balanced breathing that mirrors Libra's desire for equilibria.
As we breathe,
We will bring equal attention to both the inhale and the exhale,
Creating a sense of balance between the receiving and the releasing.
Begin by inhaling through your nose for a count of four.
Feel the cool air entering your body,
Expanding your chest and filling your lungs.
Hold the breath at the top for a moment,
Allowing the energy to settle within you.
And then exhale slowly through your nose for a count of four,
Releasing the breath gently.
So inhale,
One,
Two,
Three,
Four,
Hold,
And exhale,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Continue to breathe on your own rhythm,
On your own count.
So inhale,
Hold,
And exhale,
Hold,
Inhale,

And exhale.
As you continue this cycle of balanced breathing,
Imagine that with each inhale,
You are drawing in peace and harmony,
Allowing it to fill every corner of your body.
And with each exhale,
Imagine releasing any feelings of tension,
Imbalance,
Or stress that no longer serve you.
Inhaling peace and exhaling tension.
Notice how this breath brings a calm,
Steady rhythm to your body and mind,
Just as Libra seeks balance in every aspect of life.
Continue with this harmony breath for several more cycles,
Feeling the balance grow stronger with each breath.
And as you breathe,
Allow your thoughts to quiet and your mind to settle,
Preparing yourself with the journey ahead.

Let's take a few moments to just explore the astrological influence of Libra and what it means to experience a new moon in this sign.
Libra is ruled by the planet Venus,
The planet of love,
Beauty,
And relationships.
Symbolized by the scales,
Libra is a sign that thrives on balance and harmony.
It teaches us to create fairness in our interactions,
To seek peace in our lives,
And to find beauty in all things.
Those born under the sign of Libra often have a deep need for balance,
Both within themselves and their environment.
Whether it's in their personal relationships or their inner world,
Libras naturally seek out equilibrium,
Always striving to ensure that all aspects of life are in harmony.

It is time for us to set a sankalpa.
A sankalpa is a positive intention or affirmation that comes from your heart.
It is not just a goal,
It is a vow that aligns with your deepest truth and purpose.
Sankalpas are often set during moments of transition,
Like the new moon,
As they help us anchor into our desires and aspirations.
Now take a moment to think about what you wish to create or manifest during this new moon cycle.
What areas of your life could benefit from more balance or harmony?
What relationships,
Habits,
Or thought patterns feel out of alignment right now?
I will give you five examples of sankalpas that align with the energy of Libra.
First feel what sankalpa resonates most with you and try to remember it so you can repeat it for yourself afterwards.
I am balanced and aligned with my highest self.
I invite peace and harmony into all of my relationships.
I release all that disrupts my inner balance.
I create beauty and fairness in every area of my life.
I am grounded harmonious in that peace.
Allow one of those sankalpas or one of your own to rise within you.
Feel it resonate deeply inside your heart and silently repeat it to yourself three times,
Letting the intention settle within your mind,
Your body,
And your spirit.
As you hold this sankalpa,
Imagine that this is a small seed being planted within your heart.
With each breath,
Feel it growing stronger and more vibrant,
Knowing that this intention will guide you through this new moon cycle and beyond.
Now that we've set our intention,
Let's move into a rotation of consciousness,
Bringing awareness to different parts of the body to deepen our relaxation and align our energy.
Begin by bringing your awareness to the crown of your head.
Feel the gentle energy resting there and imagine it as a soft light glowing above you.
Allow this light to gently spread down,
Bringing awareness to your forehead,
Your eyes,
Your cheeks,
Your nose,
Your mouth,
And your jaw.
Feel your face relaxing completely.
Now move your attention to your neck and throat.
Feel the energy softening any tension here.
Moving down to your shoulders,
Noticing if you are holding on any weight and let them soften.
Feel your arms growing heavy and relaxed.
Your right arm,
Your left arm,
All the way down to your wrists,
Your right wrist,
Your left wrist,
Your hands,
Your fingers,
Your fingertips.
Now bring your awareness to your chest.
Feel the rise and fall of your breath and allow your chest to soften.
Let your awareness move down to your belly,
Your abdomen,
And feel it expand gently with each breath.
Let go of any tension or tightness here.
Now bring your awareness to your hips.
Notice how they connect you to the earth.
Let them release and feel the energy moving down through your legs,
Your right leg,
Your left leg,
And allowing your thighs,
Your knees,
Your calves,
And your ankles to relax completely.
Now finally bring your awareness to your feet.
Right foot,
Left foot,
To your toes and to the very tips of your toes.
Now imagine your entire body being completely relaxed from the crown of your head all the way down your toes,
From your fingertips all the way down.
Now imagine your entire back being completely relaxed from your neck all the way down to your lower back and feel your whole body as one integrated harmonious being.
Each part is connected,
Balanced,
And at peace.
You are in complete alignment with yourself and the energy of the new world.
Now with your body fully relaxed and your mind calm,
Imagine yourself stepping into a beautiful garden.
This is not just any garden,
It is your sacred space,
A place of perfect harmony and balance created just for you.
As you walk through this garden you notice that everything is in perfect proportion.
The trees sway gently in the breeze,
Their branches moving in unison,
Flowers bloom in harmony,
Their colors blending together beautifully.
The air is still and peaceful and with each step you feel yourself becoming more grounded,
More aligned with the earth beneath you.
In the center of this garden you see a set of golden scales.
These scales represent your inner balance,
Your ability to navigate the world with grace and harmony.
One side of the scale holds all that you have been carrying,
Your stresses,
Your worries,
Your fears.
The other side holds your sankalpa,
Your intention for balance and peace.
Take a moment to observe these scales.
Do they feel balanced or is one side heavier than the other?
As you breathe,
Imagine placing all of your stress,
Your tension and your fears onto the scale.
Let them go,
One by one,
Releasing them for your body and mind and watch as the scales begin to shift.
I know it might seem hard,
But you can do this.
Let go,
Release.
Do not hold on to things that feel so heavy.
And now place your sankalpa on the other side of the scale.
Feel its weight,
Its power and its ability to restore balance in your life.
With each breath the scale begins to find equilibrium.
The heaviness of your worries is lifted and the peace of your intention grows stronger.
Stay here for a while,
Allowing the scales to balance completely.
And as they do,
Feel yourself becoming lighter,
More centered,
More at peace.
And know that you have the ability to return to this place of balance whenever you need it,
Simply by tuning in to your breath and your intention.
And as we begin to close our practice,
Take a few moments to deepen your breath,
Gently bringing movement back into your fingers and toes,
Slowly allowing yourself to return to the present moment,
Carrying with you the peace and balance you have cultivated during this meditation.
And when you are ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
And as you move forward with this new moon energy,
I want to share three tips to help you integrate the harmony and balance of Libra into your daily life.
Create balanced relationships.
Take time to nurture your relationships.
Practice listening with empathy and seeking understanding,
Ensuring that your relationships feel harmonious and mutually supportive.
Second,
Bring balance into your routine.
Focus on balancing work and play,
Activity and rest.
Libra invites us to find equilibrium in our daily habits.
And furthermore,
Seek beauty and peace.
Surround yourself with beauty,
Whether it is in your environment or to activities that bring you joy.
Create peaceful spaces,
Both within you and around you.
