This morning's meditation is a quick and powerful way to start out your day with inner peace,

Clear intention,

And a positive focus.

I'll give you a few moments to find a comfortable position,

Either seated in a chair or lying down.

Whatever feels best for your body at this moment.

Take a few moments to get yourself settled.

Making sure that your spine is comfortably straight and making any adjustments so that your body is comfortable.

Maybe allowing your eyes to close softly.

Taking three or four deeper than normal breaths.

Breathing in through your nose and out through your mouth.

As you breathe in,

Repeat the word peace in your mind.

And as you breathe out,

Repeat the word calm in your mind.

Breathing in peace.

And breathing out calm.

Peace.

Calm.

And now letting your breath start to settle into a natural rhythm.

Your breath will organically begin to slow down as you just let things be as they are.

Letting go of worry and judgment.

You can't do this wrong.

And now maybe breathing in and out through your nose,

If that's accessible to you.

Let the muscles of your face and scalp relax and let go.

And your shoulders to drop away from your ears.

Bringing your focus to your abdomen.

Softening and encouraging your breath to start lower in your body.

And that as you breathe in,

The abdomen will gently rise and expand.

And the breath will slowly move upwards expanding the rib cage.

Maybe reaching all the way up towards your collarbones.

Everything releasing and letting go as you exhale slowly.

Continuing to breathe,

Focusing on the movement of your breath through your body.

With each breath,

Know that your life force is charged with joy and inspiration.

Give yourself permission to take this time just for you.

Your breath is a direct connection to your life force,

Your vitality.

Give yourself permission to feel great,

To feel joy and to feel inspired.

Breathing easily,

Moment to moment.

Now as you breathe in,

Sense a vibrant yellow light flowing into your body.

And as you breathe out,

That vibrant yellow light gets even brighter.

This yellow light holds within it the energy of joy and inspiration.

Each breath draws in more of this joyous and inspirational light.

Each out breath strengthens that light within you.

Just sense this yellow light in whatever way works best for you.

Breathing moment to moment.

Gathering more and more of this inspirational energy.

Filling you,

Surrounding you.

And enhancing all that you do through the day ahead.

And now take a moment to create a positive intention for this day.

Or maybe an affirmation you would like to be with that will serve as a reminder of your connection to a higher source of joy and inspiration.

And now let's begin this wonderful day.

Take a deeper than normal breath.

Begin to stretch your body a little.

And as it feels right for you,

Opening your eyes and enjoying your day ahead.
