This meditation is a supportive practice for heart healing, letting go, and opening yourself to love again. Loving deeply can leave the heart tender—and carrying unprocessed and unresolved pain is exhausting. Healing doesn’t come from avoiding the ache, but from meeting it with compassion. This breathing meditation gently guides you into the heart space, helping you meet what hurts with presence. Allowing emotional release and softening to naturally arise through your own recognition. From there, letting go becomes possible—making space for softness, trust, and love to return.

Please,

Take a seated position.

Make sure your knees are supported and that you sit high enough to keep your back straight in a relaxed manner.

Give yourself all the support you may need to enjoy this journey in absolute comfort.

Take a short moment to scan your body,

Making sure there is no tension in your forehead,

In and around your eyes and that your jaw is completely relaxed.

Drop your shoulders,

Let your hands rest on your thighs and let all your weight sink into your hips and pelvis while keeping your spine erect in an easeful manner.

Taking a deep breath in,

Hold it for a moment and release with a sigh.

Allow all the residual tension to leave your body.

Draw your attention to your heart.

Allow yourself to connect with what you feel without the need to change anything.

What do you feel in your heart?

Perhaps it feels like there is an iron wall around your heart.

Perhaps your heart feels small or as though your heart is crying or bleeding or maybe you can't feel your heart at all and it feels as though your heart has crumbled completely.

Take your time to sense what it is that you feel.

Take your time.

Explore with curiosity what is there.

No matter how challenging the feelings may be,

All that is needed is for you to create the space to feel.

Just feel.

Feel what is there that wants to be felt.

Give it your presence,

Your attention,

Your willingness to connect.

That's all.

Notice what happened to your breath as you connect with your heart.

Has the rhythm changed?

Has it intensified or become more shallow?

Just take note.

Your heart and your breath are interconnected like the yin and the yang energy.

One needs the other to be complete.

The breath fuels the heart and the heart fuels the breath.

They need each other to thrive and to fill your entire system with pure life force energy.

In a moment,

I will guide you into a simple heart expansion breathing exercise to experience the power you can ignite from within.

But before we go there,

I want to remind you that there is no goal to achieve here.

We are not aiming to open your heart,

Nor release the pain,

Or provide a magical cure that lets all your worries evaporate.

If any of these things naturally arise,

Then of course embrace them.

However,

What is the absolute most healing and accommodating to you,

To your heart,

Is to truly allow whatever needs to arise and be felt to arise and be felt.

Be curious to see what arises as you expand your breath and expand your heart.

Allow the pain.

Allow the pleasure.

Allow the pleasure you are able to experience inside the pain.

Sit in stillness for a moment.

Observe your posture,

Your body,

Your breath,

And your heart.

Feel the calm of this moment and set your intention to be open to allow it all.

Now,

Take a deep breath in,

Imagining you are breathing into your heart,

And exhale,

Exhaling from your heart.

Continue like this,

Inhale into your heart,

And exhale from your heart.

Inhale into your heart,

And exhale from your heart.

Inhale into your heart,

And exhale from your heart.

And exhale from your heart.

Continue in your own rhythm,

In silence.

Whenever you are ready,

Come back to your normal breath and simply observe where you are at,

Observe how your body feels,

Observe the sensations that are present,

And see if there is any place in particular that calls for your attention.

Observe your emotions,

Your mental state,

And your overall sense of being.

Be with what is,

Without needing to change anything.

Allow what wants to be felt,

To be felt.

Allow all that is,

Exactly as it is.

To close this meditation,

Bring your attention once more to your heart.

Your heart possesses the most powerful energy you have been gifted with in this life.

Remember that even when your heart is hurting,

There is never an absence of love.

Love is present inside the pain,

The hurt,

And agony.

Love is present inside the tears,

As well as the laughter,

Joy,

And pleasure.

Love does not discriminate.

Your heart does not discriminate.

The absolute most loving thing you can offer yourself,

Offer your heart,

Is to feel what is there.

Only then can the heart heal in the time that is right.

There is no way to demand the healing to occur,

Or for the tears to be done flowing.

All you can do is be patient,

Be present,

And take moments like this to connect.

Simply connect to yourself,

To your heart,

And allow yourself to feel it all.

Trust in the wisdom of your heart.

Trust in the divine timing.

Trust that every experience is meant for you,

As a gift to expand your capacity to love more.
