Hi,

My name is Lauren Morrill.

Thank you for choosing this meditation.

Today I will be taking you on a journey to help you unpack from your day and unwind.

First,

I want you to notice where you're at.

Are you sitting?

Are you laying down?

Are you standing?

And most importantly,

Are you comfortable?

And if you're not,

Get as comfortable as you possibly can.

Take a few seconds.

And wherever you're at,

If you can close your eyes,

I recommend that you do.

And if you can't,

Or maybe you don't want to,

That's fine too.

Focus on something that is peaceful.

Maybe the sky,

Maybe a bird.

Now,

I want you to notice gravity.

Gravity is an ever-present force that we forget to notice.

It's always there,

Yet we pay it no attention.

So for this next minute,

I want you to notice gravity.

Notice how it's holding you to your bed.

Or maybe notice the pressure between your seat and you.

Or notice when you walk,

The pressure between your feet and the ground.

That is gravity keeping you here.

It wants you here.

Sometimes gravity can seem too much.

And I want you to know that that isn't gravity.

That's something else.

And that today is what we will be exploring.

And before we do that,

I want you to notice one more thing.

I want you to notice the air.

As you breathe in,

Breathe through your mouth.

And when you're ready,

Breathe out.

As you breathe in,

Notice the air.

Notice it going down your windpipes into your belly.

Notice it filling your belly.

Notice how much space it takes up in your belly and in your windpipes.

And then notice it leaving as you exhale,

As you give that air back.

And then as you take more air,

Notice it again.

Breathe in and out for the next few seconds and notice this air.

Notice the space it takes up.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Notice that you're noticing your breath for just a few more seconds.

What we'll be doing next is unpacking what you did today.

Or maybe what is holding you back.

Earlier we talked about gravity holding you down.

That there's something entirely different holding you down as well.

One that shouldn't be.

And that the thing that's holding you down today is going to take the shape of a backpack full of rocks.

Just think of a backpack full of rocks.

Put it on your back.

Or if it's on your back,

And once it's on your back,

Make you realize that it's a little bit heavy.

What could those rocks be?

Why are there rocks in your backpack?

Well each rock represents a hard experience that maybe you experienced today.

Maybe it's something you experienced a long time ago as a child.

As a teen.

As an adult.

Growing up.

Maybe it happened a few months ago.

Maybe it happened a few years ago.

Maybe there's a lot of experiences.

Maybe there's a lot of rocks.

Maybe some are so heavy.

You wonder how you can walk.

Maybe some are little.

Maybe there's a lot of little rocks.

But even a lot of little rocks can get heavy over time.

That backpack is full.

And it's heavy.

Feel that weight.

Now I want you to notice and imagine ten stairs in front of you.

Maybe they resemble the last steps you walked up.

Maybe they're metal.

Maybe they've got carpet.

Or a rug on them.

Maybe they're glass.

Maybe they're wood.

But there's ten of them.

You're ten stairs from the bottom.

You're looking down them and you have your heavy backpack.

As you step onto the ninth step,

And if you can't picture yourself stepping down the stairs,

That's okay.

Imagine watching yourself step down the stairs or maybe seeing your feet step down each stair.

However your mind pictures it the best is okay.

Step to the ninth stair and that backpack is a little bit heavier.

You're noticing more how heavy it is.

Now to the eighth.

It's more heavy than the ninth stair.

It's even more heavy.

To the seventh step,

Your shoulders hurt where the backpack straps are.

It hurts.

Now to the sixth step.

It's starting to become unbearable.

Your back is hurting.

Your knees are starting to become weak because of how heavy it is.

To the fifth stair.

How are you going to make it down to the bottom?

Only a few more steps but it's so heavy.

To the fourth,

It's even heavier.

Go deeper into that heaviness,

That realization of how heavy it is.

Feel the strain on your shoulders.

How it strains every part of your body.

To the fourth step,

You're sweating.

To the third step,

Your feet are hurting.

You're worried you're going to slip.

Onto the second step.

You almost missed the step.

You have to slide your feet to the first step.

There's only one more step.

This is hard.

I want you to feel how hard it is.

I want you to notice how heavy it is.

All those things from your day,

From your life as you take the last step,

Notice all of those things in your life and how heavy they're weighing you down.

Let them.

Let them be heavy.

Let them weigh you down.

Now you're to the last step.

You took the last step.

You're on the ground level.

You're so proud of yourself.

It was so heavy and it still is so heavy.

But now that you're at the ground,

You see something.

You see a locker.

Maybe it's like a grade school locker,

A middle school locker,

High school locker,

Or maybe it's like a locker you would use at a gym,

A locker you'd use at an airport,

An amusement park.

Maybe it's yellow.

Maybe it's blue.

It's a little bit wider and sturdier than most lockers.

And you know that that locker can handle whatever weight you put on it.

Now that backpack,

We're going to put that in the locker.

And you can leave it in the locker for as long as you want.

Even after this meditation,

You can put it back on.

But right now we're going to put it in the locker.

So imagine yourself taking off one of the straps of the backpack.

It feels so good to take off that first strap of the backpack.

And as you swing it around so that you can grab a hold of the backpack,

The other strap comes off and then the weight is put into your hands of the entire backpack.

That is one heavy backpack.

Now we're going to unzip it.

Notice all the rocks.

Are they little rocks?

A lot of them.

Are there some really,

Really big ones?

Some medium sized ones?

Some small ones?

Are they all jam packed in there?

I think we've had enough of this backpack.

So now we're going to put it inside the locker where it belongs.

And then once you picture yourself putting it in the locker,

Now that it's in the locker,

Close that locker.

We don't need it.

Not right now.

Honestly,

We don't need that backpack ever again.

Because those rocks,

Even though they might be serving a purpose,

Maybe that purpose is to remind you of something.

Maybe the purpose is to make you stronger.

They're not really serving you anymore.

Not in that form.

Say thank you to that backpack,

The rocks.

Thank you for serving your purpose.

But now you're holding me back.

It's too heavy.

And you may come back at a later time,

Another meditation,

And we will unpack those rocks.

But actually right now we can just leave them right there.

We don't need to dump them anywhere.

We don't need to look at them,

Analyze them,

Turn them upside down.

We can actually just leave them right there.

Now that the backpack is off,

Almost like a buoy in the water,

Or maybe a balloon pulling you up,

You feel weightless.

Completely weightless.

Like almost that you could fly.

Now I want you to really sink in.

Let it sink in how weightless you feel.

Like you can breathe easier.

Those 10 steps were so hard.

They didn't need to be that hard.

That journey you were on today,

Maybe all the hard times that you went through,

It's okay that they were hard.

But wearing that backpack just makes them harder.

It doesn't need to be that hard.

The only thing holding you to the earth should be gravity.

Now that that backpack is gone and you feel weightless,

I want you to imagine a teardrop shape around your body.

Or a raindrop completely surrounding your body.

No part of your body is outside of this raindrop.

Like you're inside of an unbloomed tulip.

It's a vessel.

And it goes a few feet above your head and a few feet all around you.

The circumference of this teardrop is wider than you.

And even if you're sitting on the floor,

Laying on the bed,

It goes underneath you.

You are completely encompassed by this.

We're going to fill this teardrop up.

You're going to feel it with healing liquid.

We're going to fill it completely to the top and don't worry,

You will still be able to breathe as it is more like air.

Picture this liquid or air a color that is healing like gold,

Pink,

Maybe silver,

Blue,

Green.

Whichever color you picked,

Imagine it filling up this teardrop.

If you're standing up,

Notice it starting to get to your toes,

To your ankles.

If you're sitting down,

Notice it starting to fill up to your knees even.

If you're laying down,

Notice it where your body is touching the bed,

Where it's starting to fill up.

And as it's filling up,

It's taking those old beliefs with it.

The beliefs that you are not worthy of being happy,

That you are not worthy of progressing,

You are not worthy of fulfilling your dreams,

It's taking all of those with it.

Because it knows and you know that those are not true.

And in its stead,

It is putting new,

Better beliefs in there.

Because when you change the things you see,

The things you see change.

It is filling up,

It's halfway.

It's a little bit above your belly button if you're sitting.

If you're standing,

It is too.

If you're laying down,

It's halfway to your body.

And just feel it.

It's a comfortable temperature.

Maybe that if you're warm right now,

Maybe it feels like a little bit cooler.

Or if you're cold,

Then it's a little bit warmer.

Feel the temperature as it fills all the way to the top.

It's comforting.

It's almost like being inside of your mother's womb.

Or in a tropical paradise where it's always 75 degrees.

Where you can order room service anytime.

It's exactly where you're meant to be right now.

And it is swirling around in circles clockwise.

Around and around through your body,

Through your mind.

It's clearing out all the gunk,

All the old limiting beliefs.

That you are not enough,

That you are not worthy.

And it is pushing those beliefs out through the very tip.

Nothing good can exit.

Only bad things can exit.

Because this is a healing drop.

This is a healing space.

And it is filling.

It is full.

And every little gunk,

It instills in something new.

It instills in that I am worth the money that I want to make.

I am enough for the money I want to make.

I am worthy of my dream career,

My dream job.

I am enough for my dream job,

My dream career.

I am worthy of living a happy and fulfilled life.

I am more than enough to live a happy and fulfilled life.

It is rewiring your brain,

Your body.

I am worthy of being the healthiest I can be.

I am enough to be the healthiest I can be.

I am enough to love my body.

I am worthy of loving my body.

I am worthy of being happy in my body.

I am enough to be happy in my body.

I have a powerful body.

I have a powerful mind.

It is rewiring.

And something that helps when your mind is rewiring with new beliefs is if,

While your eyes are closed,

Look to the very highest point that you can.

If your eyes are open,

They can look almost like they're looking into your eyebrows.

Leave them there for a few seconds.

And picture these words.

Maybe say them to yourself in your mind,

Even out loud if you want.

I am worthy.

I am worth it.

I am enough.

I am powerful.

I am loved.

I love myself.

I love myself.

I am good.

Everything I do,

I have the best intentions.

I am good enough.

I am strong enough.

I love myself.

I am worthy.

Now you can drop your eyes to their normal,

Comfortable position and feel the vortex spinning around you in this healing shape.

Feel it clearing out old beliefs that no longer serve you.

Going through your mind,

Every little bit of your mind,

The frontal lobe,

The left hemisphere,

The right hemisphere,

The brain stem,

All of your brain,

Every little bit of it,

Down your spine,

Your sit bones,

Your legs,

Your stomach,

Your feet,

Your arms,

Your shoulders,

Your chest,

Your neck,

Your eyes.

Your eyes will now see that you're enough,

That you are worth it,

That this life was made for you and that there is a life force.

That life force is inside of you.

Whether you realize it or not,

You are enough always.

You're not enough if you do something.

There's no ifs about your worth.

You are always enough no matter what.

This is your safe space.

Nothing outside in the world can get in here.

Only goodness,

Only love,

Only the things that are naturally yours that were instilled from you ever since before you were born.

They're already there.

These things never leave you.

You just have to remember them and you're rewiring your brain,

You're rewiring your body to remember this.
