Hello and welcome to the intro talk for the Vagus Nerve Activation Meditation to increase healing energy.

My name is Monica Moller and I am delighted to share valuable insights of the healing process.

We all know that our body's biological functions can be paradoxical and profound.

But don't worry,

By becoming familiar with a few key points you will have the clarity needed for the practice.

So let's dive in into a perspective of health from an energy management point of view.

Your body is designed to survive from external and internal elements,

But it needs a lot of energy when it goes into survival mode.

So the body uses the energy reserves with a system of priorities.

First,

It uses the energy to defend and protect you from external problems,

And second,

From internal ones.

In other words,

Certain body functions and organs need more energy depending on the demands coming from your environment.

For instance,

If you are in a safari tour and you find yourself in the emergency of escaping from a lion,

Your mass of energy goes to your legs,

Arms,

And heart to beat fast,

To run fast,

Or fight back.

The big dinner that you had a few minutes ago will have to wait to be digested until you are safe in your tent.

And the same goes for viruses,

Bacterias,

Or tumor cells.

They will be dealt with after the lion,

When the danger and stress are gone,

Because your body needs significant amount of energy to fight back these intruders,

To reactivate unbalanced organs,

And restore affected cells.

How does the body know all this?

If you imagine your body like a modern organic machine,

The electric system that controls the machine's functions is the autonomic nervous system of the body,

And our vagus nerve,

As part of our nervous system,

Is especially programmed to pick up,

Translate,

And direct signs from the environment,

And then action our body's transition from fight or flight to rest,

Digest,

And growth mode.

Here is the key factor for healing.

The vagus nerve is an essential part of our parathympathetic nervous system,

The one responsible for relaxing us,

And plays a vital role in sustaining our overall wellness.

It has been demonstrated that it reduces the release of pro-inflammatory cytokines in acute inflammation.

Once the body goes back to a relaxed state,

After being highly stressed,

The vagus nerve sends the signs and signals to the organs and body functions to work internally,

And so influences the immune system and our organs health in a huge positive way.

This is where you have the ability to direct your energy to heal internally.

You can influence your state of alarm and stress to a relaxed ideal state for your body to heal.

The way you can influence your nervous system is by practicing meditation,

Changing your internal thought process with breathing exercises to change the breathing rhythm,

And to reach a relaxation.

Calming the mind during the meditation changes the frequency of your thoughts and emotions,

And sends a wave of vibrations loaded with information that are received by your cells and nervous system.

Having the intention to activate your internal communication system with your body,

You will start to send this positive information to your vagus nerve that,

Once you are in a relaxed state,

Will balance the functions of your organs.

In this wholeness of body-mind-relaxed state,

Your intelligent immune system recharges of energy and is receptive of the safe signs to protect,

Clean,

And heal whatever needs to be healed in your body.
