Place your hands in Hakini Mudra.
Place them on your thighs.
Take a breath and if it feels comfortable,
Close your eyes.
With your breath,
Let your body,
Let your breath bring you to the present moment.
And allow yourself to just scan your body,
Just saying hello to each part of your body,
Each muscle,
Each bone,
Each cell.
And notice if there's any tension in your body,
Maybe a subtle tension,
Maybe your mind is just sending you to that place.
Maybe you can add a color to the places of tension like a painter.
And now think of another color.
Color brings relaxation,
Brings peace,
Brings comfort.
And start painting the painful colors with your peaceful one,
Little by little,
Until you paint your whole body.
Now imagine that color in between your hands and see how it spreads to your whole body.
How you spread that love,
That harmony,
That balance to the people around you,
To your community,
To your family,
To the whole world.
Take a breath,
Place your hands on your heart,
Anjali Mudra.
And just allow yourself to spread that love,
To spread that wisdom,
Starting from yourself,
To everybody around.
The benefits of this short practice,
They are a ripple effect to the world.
