Welcome everyone.
This meditation is a gentle space to pause,
Soften and return to yourself.
Inspired by the art of simply observing rather than controlling,
This practice invites you to release mental heaviness,
Relax the body and rest in the quiet presence beneath all the noise.
Whether you are carrying anxiety,
Emotional exhaustion or simply the weight of everyday life,
These few minutes are an invitation to breathe,
Let go and remember that you do not always have to strive.
Sometimes healing begins in allowing.
Let's begin.
Take a comfortable seat or lie down gently.
Allow this moment to become a small pause from the noise of the world.
Nothing to achieve right now,
Nothing to fix,
Nothing to force.
Just this breath and this moment.
Take a slow deep breath in and exhale softly.
Again,
Inhale and let the exhale be longer than the inhale as if body is sighing in relief.
One more deep breath and release.
Now,
Let your breathing return to its natural rhythm.
No need to control it,
No need to change it.
Life is already moving through you effortlessly.
Bring your awareness to your forehead,
Soften it.
Relax the tiny muscles around the eyes,
Relax the jaw,
Unclench the tongue.
Let the face become soft and unguarded.
Now,
Relax your neck,
Your shoulders,
Let them drop.
You do not need to carry every burden right now.
Allow your arms to rest heavily,
Your palms relaxed,
Your chest soft,
Your stomach soft.
Now simply notice the breath again moving in and out like waves arriving at the shore and returning back to the shore.
No wave stays forever,
No breath stays forever.
Everything moves,
Everything changes.
Thoughts may still appear that is natural.
The mind thinks the way the heart beats.
You do not need to stop thinking,
Just observe.
Imagine your thoughts are clouds moving across a vast open sky.
The sky does not fight the clouds,
It allows them and still remains untouched.
In the same way,
You are not every thought passing through you.
You are the awareness watching.
Perhaps a memory appears,
A worry,
A conversation,
Or maybe a fear about tomorrow.
Notice it gently and instead of pulling it closer,
Simply let it float.
Now bring your awareness to your heart space,
Not the physical heart but the emotional space within you and quietly ask yourself,
What have I been carrying for too long?
Do not search for an answer,
Just feel.
Maybe it is pressure to always be strong.
Maybe it is loneliness.
Maybe it is disappointment or maybe it is exhaustion from trying to become enough.
Whatever arises,
Allow it to exist without judgment.
Healing begins the moment we stop fighting what we feel.
Now notice the silence underneath the thoughts.
The silence has always been there.
Peace is not something you create,
It is something you uncover beneath the constant noise.
For the next few moments,
Rest here,
No effort,
No trying,
Just being.
If thoughts arise again,
Smile gently at them and let them pass like birds crossing the sky.
No need to chase them,
No need to stop them.
The sky remains vast and untouched and so do you.
Quietly repeat within yourself,
I allow myself to rest.
I allow myself to soften.
I allow life to move through me.
I do not need to hold everything so tight.
Feel the body breathing naturally.
Feel the earth supporting you beneath.
You are held,
Even now,
Especially now.
And maybe for this moment you are no longer trying to become someone else.
You are simply here,
Present with yourself.
And that presence is enough.
Now slowly begin deepening your breath.
Maybe wiggling your fingers,
Toes,
Moving the neck side to side.
Take one final deep inhale and exhale completely.
Before opening your eyes,
Thank yourself for pausing,
For listening in word.
For giving yourself these few moments of stillness.
And whenever you are ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Carry this softness within you like a quiet river within,
Flowing peacefully through everything life brings.
Thank you for joining me today.
Be well.
Take care.
