Peace and welcome to this morning's meditation.
This morning's meditation will have just the sound of my voice and a stillness within.
This meditation will be a quick way to start your morning and set yourself up for a good day.
Let's begin now.
Take a moment to find a comfortable position.
Let your hands rest gently on your lap or by your sides.
When you're ready,
Softly close your eyes.
Now I would ask that you take a deep slow breath in through your nose and when you get to the top hold for a moment and then exhale gently through your mouth.
Feeling your shoulders relax.
Allow your body to settle into this calm steady rhythm of deep breathing for the next few moments.
With your next breath in,
Imagine drawing in peace and clarity and as you breathe out,
Release any tension or thoughts about yesterday or what's to come later today.
Notice this moment,
The stillness,
The quiet.
As the world is slowly waking up,
You are here,
Perfectly present.
Take a deep breath in,
Hold for a count of three and exhale slowly.
Let your mind rest in this calm space.
Say to yourself,
I am present.
I am grounded.
I am ready for this day.
Today will be a great day and I'm gonna leave you here for just a minute as you allow those words to resonate within.
Take a deep cleansing breath in through the nose and when you can get to the top and take in no more air,
Exhale fully and completely.
Notice the body and how it feels.
Notice the stillness and calm within yourself.
Take this feeling,
This natural feeling that we are supposed to be walking around with every day and go have a wonderful morning and the rest of your day.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes and have a wonderful day.
