We skip through moments like a stone thrown across water—barely touching the surface. But this moment is our only access to life. Not conceptually. Experientially. This meditation invites you to fully drown in this ordinary moment. Not for something extraordinary—but because life is only here, only now. You'll see how thinking creates a conceptual model (accumulated past, potential future) that convinces even the smartest among us. Meanwhile, we lose access to actual life—the self-evident fact that everything happens NOW. The salon story: "Tomorrow your haircut is free. Today you must pay." That's how unconscious thinking hypnotizes us—tomorrow I'll be happy, today I must struggle. Without the mediator of thinking between you and this moment, you are inseparably one. This is what we long for—alignment with life, harmony without rejection. Today can be the last day of unnecessary psychological suffering. Arrive. Be arrived.

Arrive in this moment.

Relieve this moment from the burden of the past,

The expectation from the future.

Fully become one with this moment.

Instead of just skipping off this moment like a stone which is thrown as it skips off the surface of water.

Fully drown in this moment.

Not for something extraordinary.

As a matter of fact,

For something ordinary.

Because in this moment is our life.

The only access to life is in this moment.

Yes,

Thinking might tell you otherwise.

The model of life will tell you otherwise that you have all this accumulated life called past and you have all this potential life which is the future.

But if we let go of the conceptual models and recognize experiential fact it will become self-evident that the only access to life is in this ordinary moment.

That which we are skipping completely or partially most of the time in exchange for a future based on a model or processing,

Repeating,

Replaying the event of the past.

And that's how we squander this precious moment.

We have gotten used to believing what thinking tells us.

But the intelligence in us gets this self-evident irrefutable fact namely the access to life is only in this moment.

Whatever we want to do is only in this moment.

We are in this moment and life is in this moment.

Without this veneer,

This interface,

This mediator of thinking between us and the moment we are inseparably one.

But this thinking tells us otherwise and somehow it's so convincing that even the smartest of us end up believing it and in the process we lose access to life.

So come back here,

Become one with this moment.

What we long for is this embrace with life,

Alignment of us and the life in the form of whatever life wants to bring us.

Without rejection we can't reject what is already here.

But the hubris of thinking of the mind is to convince us otherwise and create psychological suffering completely overlooking the ordinary experience of being one with life which is actually the experience of harmony and peace where we are not fighting life or rejecting life by wishing something else in its place.

That is what we long for.

But unknowingly we end up choosing the conceptual model and it is evident in the suffering,

The psychological suffering which is completely avoidable.

And because we have done this for so long that we are even used to this unnecessary levels of suffering in our life recognize now,

Now in this moment,

What's the problem?

Any problem,

Any answer that the mind and thinking comes up with is not present now.

It's in the future or it was in the past.

I guess this mind,

This unconscious way of thinking is such a great marketer that we buy it.

We buy into it.

We are lured into it.

Of course no one can force us because it's This entire process of selling and buying is an internal process and that's why anything and everything that brings us back to this default desired state of becoming one with this moment is what we chase.

Because we love this,

Truly love this.

Whether it is substances,

Extreme sports,

Sex a good problem to solve It stops the mind and brings us back into this razor sharp edge where we have access to life.

But we don't have to go through an intermediate experience to get here.

Simply recognizing the trueness of this self-evident fact and the falseness of the conceptual models of wandering in the mind pretending to be in the past or the future is enough.

Believing something and then chasing something else to get to this default state tires us,

Frustrates us.

As a child we had direct access to this moment without any luring.

As we grew up we were hypnotized.

Out of our own volition of course nobody made us hypnotized.

This access was camouflaged.

It can never go away.

It was replaced by a chase,

By this pursuit which funnily this society rewards,

This pursuit pursuit of happiness,

Pursuit of peace completely overlooking the simplicity of it all.

But today can be this last day of this unnecessary chase.

Today can be the last day of this self-hypnosis.

Today can be the last day of being asleep to this fundamental fact that we have been overlooking and ignoring.

Today can also be the last day of our unnecessary psychological suffering arriving in this moment and being arrived in this moment and this moment is always our freedom.

Even the conscious use of thinking in this moment doesn't separate us from this moment because it is conscious,

It is out of our own freedom.

It's only that unconscious thinking that demonstrates our belief that life is not here,

Life is out there or life was out there.

It allegedly dissociates us from this moment.

But conscious thinking does not and the unconscious thinking puts us in pursuit violent pursuit,

Chasing desperately and only getting relief once in a while.

My teacher recently told us a story about how there is a salon in France with a sign that says tomorrow your haircut is free.

Today you'll have to pay but tomorrow it is free.

That's how we have been hypnotized by our unconscious thinking Tomorrow I will be happy,

Tomorrow I will get it.

Today I have to slog.

Let my words be a reminder to that which you already know because when I say arrive in this moment I am not asking you to do something that you don't know already.

It's just a reminder and more importantly this reminder is an invitation to recognize the ordinariness and the extraordinariness of this freedom to become one with the moment to truly live this life to deeply live this life and not suffer while doing so.

Thank you.
