This is a short breathing meditation to release frustration, anger, and stress. These feelings are an aspect of the fire element within us. By using our breath aka life force to get present in our body, we can allow the excess energy and fire within us to soften and abate. Thus allowing for a shift in perspective and a reminder that we are always able to come back home to our true nature of expansive peace and presence.

Welcome to this meditation for releasing anger and frustration.

Anger and feelings of frustration are ruled by the fire element.

And like our planet,

We are made of these elements comprised of the same elements as our planet.

To work with the fire element within our body,

We can focus on the space above and below the navel,

The seat of the solar plexus.

And today the breath that I'll be offering you is a deep inhalation in through the nose,

And then a press out of the mouth with a.

.

.

We're releasing excess heat in the body when we do this with this open mouth.

We also are extending the exhalation,

Which naturally is calming for the nervous system.

So take a moment to just find a nice tall spine here.

And this is a meditation for releasing anger and frustration.

So you really want to let it out,

Not trying to hold it in.

We do that throughout our day and throughout our life so many times.

So we really want to let that ha sound be almost like a dragon breath,

If you will.

We want to let it out completely,

Fully invest in the releasing of the tension.

We'll be doing this for 10 rounds.

You could do the standing,

Seated.

You can even do it reclining.

So take a moment to find that position.

Again,

Just checking in with the spine.

Eyes open for this meditation.

And let's begin.

Take a deep breath in through the nose.

Release out of the mouth with a.

.

.

Again.

Inhale.

Five more cycles.

Last one.

Now just return to your natural breath rhythm.

Standing,

Sitting or lying in stillness.

Observe if you feel a little calmer.

Natural breath.

Now bring your awareness to that part of the body connected to the earth or your seat.

Send all of your focus there,

Maybe the soles of the feet,

The bottom of body on the earth,

The back of the body on the earth.

Whatever's in contact with the earth,

Send your awareness there.

And as you take this next deep breath,

Imagine any leftover frustration,

Any residual anger going down into the earth as you exhale.

Two more times like this.

Full breath in through the nose.

Any residual frustration or anger being neutralized by the earth,

Giving it back to universe.

One more breath cycle.

From here,

Slowly allow the eyes to open.

And just bring the palms together in front of the heart,

Having that left hand and right hand connection.

A dip of chin to chest.

Gratitude for this time that you've been able to take.

To simply surrender to your feelings and releasing them with the breath back to the universe,

Neutralizing any anger or frustration,

Coming back to balance,

Back home to a harmonious you.

May you always be blessed.

Namaste.
