A part of the 8 Noble truths of Buddhism - Right Speech. Lao Tzu said "knowing others is intelligence, but knowing yourself is true wisdom" so we begin to examine our lives in this meditation looking at our speech. Various quotes are included from Buddhist, Jewish, and Christian traditions.
