Hello and welcome,

I'm your guide Jessica Kirshner and you are listening to a mindful modern living guided meditation.

In today's practice,

We'll be diving into legacy thinking,

Starting with the end in mind and creating the pathway to your future.

We'll focus on connecting with your breath,

Clearing space within the body and mind,

And then visualizing the realization of your legacy in a way that feels deeply connected to who you are and who you are becoming.

This meditation is not just about seeing your legacy,

But experiencing it with all of your senses,

Allowing you to feel,

Hear,

And truly be present with your vision.

Let's start by taking a moment to arrive in the present moment.

Find a comfortable seated position,

Or perhaps you'd like to lie down,

Rest your hands gently in your lap or next to your body.

Soften your eyes or maybe close them.

Take a full deep breath in,

Full exhale out.

Begin to connect your awareness with your breath,

Following the breath in and following your breath out.

As you breathe in,

Feel the body expand and with each exhale,

Allow yourself to release any tension.

Allow the breath to be a bridge between the present moment and your deeper intention.

With every breath you feel,

Settle yourself within this space.

With each exhale,

Allow any thoughts of what you need to do later,

Any to-do lists.

Release them,

Put them down.

Release any expectations,

Your roles and responsibilities.

Allow yourself to arrive right here in this moment.

There is nothing you need to do,

But simply be present with your breath.

Feel your body softening with each breath.

With every inhale,

Invite a sense of peace,

Calm and clarity.

With every exhale,

Release any stress or lingering thoughts.

Take a moment to connect with how your body feels in this moment.

Where do you feel tension or discomfort?

Where do you feel ease?

Notice how your body reacts to each breath.

Let your breath be your anchor.

Let it guide you to this present moment.

Feel your breath traveling in and out of your body.

Allow your shoulders to soften with each exhale.

Your face to relax with each inhale.

As you continue breathing,

Begin to tune into your body more fully.

As you keep your connection with breath,

Let's take a moment to focus on what might be holding you back from fully stepping into that future vision.

Often fear,

Doubt and past experiences can create energetic blocks that prevent us from realizing our fullest potential.

These fears can show up in our thoughts,

Bodies and actions.

And they can stand in the way of the legacy you wish to create.

Stay with your breath.

And as you scan your body,

Bring awareness to any areas of your body that feel tight,

Heavy or tense.

These are often the physical manifestations of fear or limiting beliefs.

There may be a sense of unease,

Hesitation and even resistance to changes you want to make in your life.

Let's acknowledge them now with kindness and acceptance.

Knowing that this is an important part of the process.

Your legacy cannot be fully realized without recognizing and releasing what no longer serves you.

Start at the top of your head.

Slowly scan your body for any tension or discomfort.

Notice if you're holding any worries or doubts in your jaw,

Neck or shoulders.

With each breath,

Soften and release these areas.

Allow them to relax,

To surrender.

As you move down,

Check in with your chest and heart.

Notice if any fears,

Grief or past disappointments are stored in these spaces.

Try not to judge.

Simply notice and breathe into your heart center.

With each exhale,

Give yourself permission to release any lingering tension or emotional baggage.

Continue to move down into your abdomen,

Your lower back,

Your hips.

These areas are often home to our deepest fears and insecurities.

Are there any old beliefs about yourself,

Your worth or your abilities that are trapped here?

Take a moment to breathe deeply into these spaces.

Allow those old beliefs to dissolve.

Allow yourself to let go of any attachment you have to them.

As you move your awareness to your legs,

Knees and feet,

Feel the connection to the earth beneath you.

These are the areas that connect you to stability and grounding.

With every breath,

Imagine releasing any lingering fears or doubts about your future legacy.

Allow them to sink into the earth where they can be transformed and healed.

As you finish scanning your body,

Take a few more deep breaths.

With each exhale,

Allow any remaining doubts,

Fears or blocks to be released.

Imagine these energies moving away from your body,

Being replaced with light,

With clarity,

With purpose.

Now return to your vision of your legacy.

Notice how your body feels as you continue to breathe.

Do you feel lighter?

More expansive?

What emotions or sensations arise now that you've cleared space for your future?

Allow these feelings of ease,

Confidence and empowerment to fulfill you.

Now as you continue to stay with your breath,

Let's begin to focus on your legacy.

Visualize the version of you who has lived your purpose,

Who has made an impact on the world.

Imagine the future you've already created.

See yourself standing in that vision,

Surrounded by the people and relationships that helped shape it.

What does your environment look like in this future?

Who is there with you?

What does success feel like?

Allow yourself to experience every detail,

From the sights to the sounds,

The smells and the feelings in this moment.

As you stand in the vision of your legacy,

Stay connected with your breath.

Breathe in the gratitude and fulfillment that comes with knowing that you've made a real impact.

Allow yourself to feel the joy,

Feel the peace of this accomplishment.

Notice how your body feels in this space.

Are you standing tall with pride and confidence?

Can you feel the sense of alignment and purpose radiating from you?

Feel the sense of purpose.

It infuses your being.

Your energy feels grounded and vibrant.

The relationships you've nurtured,

The legacy you've built,

And the impact you've made are all reflected in the energy around you.

Allow this vision to fill you up completely.

You have the power to bring this vision to life.

As you hold this vision in your mind,

Ask yourself,

What emotional elements are tied to this legacy?

What feelings arise when you reflect on what you've created?

Perhaps you feel joy,

Pride,

Peace,

Or gratitude.

Allow these feelings to wash over you as you embrace the emotional depth of your vision.

How does your heart feel in this space?

How do you feel about the relationships,

The contributions,

And the impact you've made?

Let these emotions rise.

And with each inhale,

Breathe in the strength,

The conviction that they bring.

With every exhale,

Release any doubts,

Fears,

Or limiting beliefs that may still linger.

What energetic shifts are occurring as you connect with this vision?

What parts of your body feel energized?

What areas feel at peace?

Let yourself tune into your mind-body connection.

Allow your body to absorb the sense of fulfillment,

The sense of purpose,

And the ease of knowing you are walking the path of your legacy.

As we near the end of this meditation,

Take a moment to reflect on the emotional elements of your legacy.

What emotions did you experience throughout this process?

What shifts in energy occurred within you?

What are you proud of?

What excites you about the future?

What does your legacy look like now?

And how does it feel to be connected to it so deeply?

This vision of your legacy is yours to create.

You are here in the present,

Shaping the future with every thought,

Every decision,

And every action.

Every step forward,

No matter how small,

Is a step closer to your future you've visualized.

May you carry the sense of intention,

Alignment,

And purpose you've gained from this meditation with you,

Knowing that each action you take today contributes to the legacy you are building.

Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Take a nice,

Big,

Slow,

Full breath in.

Let it go.

Begin to wiggle your fingers and toes.

Slowly start to stretch your body.

And when you're ready,

Gently open your eyes.
