Here I'm giving you permission to just rest.
To just be exactly where you are.
You're a human being,
Not a human doing.
So let's just be for a moment.
Nowhere to go.
You have already arrived.
So just be.
Just rest.
Just listen to your body for a moment.
Not your mind but your body.
Just resting.
Listening.
It can be so busy,
This business of being human.
But what are we doing it all for?
The motivation behind most of the things we do in our life is to be happy.
So allowing yourself the opportunity to be is an essential part of this.
For now just rest in being.
How does it feel to be?
How does it feel to be in your body?
To be in the space around you?
To be part of the exchange of air between the inside and the outside?
So much of the world around us is just happy to be.
The plants,
The trees,
Their leaves blowing in the wind.
They simply eat the sun and breathe and live and be and die.
The flowers,
Their joyful expressions of colour and playfulness.
They bask in this beauty of being.
Can we be to enjoy them?
Can we bask in this beauty of being?
Can we listen?
When we be,
When we listen,
We can hear our heart singing in these being moments.
Just being here,
Resting here.
Listening.
