Close your eyes and come with me to a place beyond fear.

Just put down everything you're holding onto.

Whatever it is,

Just for now put it down.

You can always pick it up again at the end if you really want to.

But while we're here,

Soften your grip and let go.

Noticing any areas of clinging or tension and just allowing these to unfurl.

Unfurl as you rest your attention on them.

In turning or running or fighting or avoiding,

We tighten the spring of discomfort and pain.

So turn in.

Face it and feel it and breathe.

Face it and feel it and breathe.

Breathing in,

I face this fear.

And breathing out,

I release.

Breathing in,

I feel this fear.

And breathing out,

I release.

Feel and release with every breath.

Surrender and allow.

Surrender and soften.

All pain is a messenger.

But what is the message?

Not all answers can be found at the level of the mind.

So move beyond your mind.

Face the sensation itself.

Face it and feel it and breathe.

Turn in and let out.

Allow and let be.

Allow and breathe.

Elongating the in-breath.

Elongating the letting out-breath.

I feel pain so I know I am alive.

I feel pain.

And so I know what it is to have this full depth of human experience.

Feeling and breathing.

Breathing and releasing.

Breathing and feeling in fullness whatever is there.

Allowing it to be.

Allowing this moment to be exactly as it is.

It only takes a moment to move beyond fear.

It only takes a moment to move beyond anything.

Before our perceptions can move and shift and change at any time.

And the time is always now.

As you surrender to now,

To the sensation of fear and feel that flee as the sensation it appears to be.

Then now a space may open up as we face it and feel it and breathe.

And as we surrender and soften and allow things to be as they are.

We may find that things shift.

That they shift and change.

We may find that things shift and change.

Because all the while things are shifting and changing.

Because this is the nature of things.

All things real and imagined.

The ever changing symphony of the seasons.

That is life.

And as we feel the aliveness of this life as deeply and as fully as we can allow.

We know how it is to live.

Nothing can be seen and felt without contrast.

So seeing and feeling and sensing all the layers of contrast that are available to you right now.

These dancing flickering layers of aliveness.

Out of the darkness comes light and out of the light comes darkness and out of the contrast we begin to see glimmers of how things really are.

Breathing and softening and allowing.

Breathing and being.

And how heavy this being human can sometimes get.

With our solid sense of self.

But as we breathe the light of awareness into this heaviness there is a dissolving and a dissipating of selfness.

As the breath passes from inside to out our awareness dances between worlds.

Dancing between homeless and emptiness.

Dancing between separation and completion.

Am I inside or outside?

Am I solid or spacious?

Am I heavy or light?

Am I light or dark?

Am I anything or everything or nothing at all?

Can I watch this dance?

Can I watch this dancing and turning and spinning and ever changing reaching and unfolding of expression?

Can I watch this dancing and turning and ever changing reaching and unfolding of expression?

And if there is pain can I see that pain without being that pain?

And if there is fear can I see that fear without being that fear?

Putting everything down now.

Letting go of the breath and letting go of everything.

Letting go.

Letting go even of your concept of letting go.

What is here now?

What is here?

Allowing everything,

This unfiltered allowing.

Resting here.

Completely open to what is,

Whatever is.

Whatever is.

Arisings and passings are simply,

Arisings and passings,

Don't bother with them,

Just be.

Let me hold this space wide open for you.

To come in.

To let out.

To let out and to let out a little more.

As wide and as spacious as you will allow.

Wider and wider still more and more spacious.

Allowing and surrendering and softening.

Allowing and softening.

And this soft sweet surrender that undulates like the breath is always available.

And as you open to it,

You open a door and tumble and tumble down into the vastness of absolutely everything.

Releasing and feeling the fullness of fear is the key to this door.

And everything we could ever want is on the other side.

Allow the brilliance of your being to shine.

Allow the power of your light to dissolve darkness.

You are so much stronger and greater than you could ever know.

Be vast and love deeply.

Do not be afraid.

Do not be afraid of feeling fully.

You are alive.

Embrace the life flowing through you.

Love the life flowing through you.

Be love.

Be love.

Be love.

Be love.

Be love.

Be love.

Be love.

Be love.

Be love.

There are so many routes to mindfulness then I realize they all follow the same path. I am that. I am. That. I. Am. That.
