Find a comfortable position,

Whether seated or lying down,

And close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

Feel your body beginning to relax,

Letting go of any tension.

Bring your attention inward,

Away from the busy outside world and allow yourself to simply be here in this moment.

Take another deep breath in and as you exhale,

Let your mind soften,

Preparing to journey inward.

Today you will be connecting with your inner child.

This is the part of you that holds the memories,

Emotions and experiences of your younger self.

It's a vulnerable yet precious part of you that often carries wounds or unmet needs.

By visualizing and connecting with your inner child,

You can offer healing,

Love and compassion to parts of yourself that may feel neglected or hurt.

This meditation is a powerful tool for emotional release,

Deep self-acceptance and nurturing your sense of wholeness.

Now begin to imagine yourself standing in a beautiful,

Peaceful place.

This could be a lush garden,

A quiet forest or a sunny beach.

Whatever feels most comforting to you.

Take in your surroundings,

Feel the warmth of the air and listen to the gentle sounds around you.

As you stand here,

Imagine your inner child approaching you.

This might be a younger version of yourself from any age that comes to mind.

Notice how they look,

Perhaps they are smiling or maybe they seem sad or unsure.

Welcome them with an open heart.

Take a moment to kneel down and meet them at their eye level.

Gently reach out to them,

Letting them know that they are safe and loved.

In this moment,

Offer them the love,

Support and reassurance that they need.

You can tell them,

I'm here for you or simply wrap them in a comforting embrace.

Allow yourself to feel the bond between you and your inner child growing stronger.

Whether they need to express sadness,

Joy or fear,

You are there to hold space for them.

Breathe deeply and as you exhale,

Release any tension,

Guilt or sadness you've been carrying.

Know that by nurturing your inner child,

You're also healing yourself.

Take one last deep breath,

Holding your inner child close.

Thank them for being with you and for allowing you to reconnect.

As you prepare to end this meditation,

Gently release the image of your inner child,

Knowing that you can return to the space whenever you need.

Slowly,

Bring your awareness back to the present,

Wiggling your fingers and toes and when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Feel the peace and warmth of this moment,

Carrying the love and healing you've offered your inner child with you throughout your day.

Namaste.

Hi Jigna, I loved that. I did a painting after listening to it. I hope it is alright to share. I think this is like early inner child work. Thanks for the meditation. https://photos.app.goo.gl/Y3xpzTCYMnRGnkFn7 Brian

That was beautiful, peaceful, and just what my inner child needed. I will continue to come back to this as often as I need it. Thank you, Namaste.
