I'm Brendan Kennedy,
And welcome to today's meditation.
Each morning,
I like to start my day with a practice to up-level my energy to set a powerful intention.
It helps me set the course for my day,
Prepare me to make better decisions,
And most importantly,
To see my future more clearly.
And I know,
If you practice it,
It will have the same impact for you too.
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.
Close your eyes,
And take a moment to adjust your body,
Your clothes,
And your posture so you can just leave it all alone during this meditation.
And when you're settled in,
Let's take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
And let that go through your mouth.
Let's do that one more time.
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in through your nose.
Throughout my life,
Especially in running my business,
I've learned that the first moments of the day are the most important.
It's the only time of the day when no one is calling,
There's no meeting to attend,
And you have nothing yet causing you to worry.
It's just stillness and silence.
Your natural state at peace,
Without urgency or anxiety.
And you're a blank slate.
But imagine for a second if you could do even better.
What if you could give yourself a head start to have a great day?
So let's get into the practice.
Begin by imagining the infinite black space surrounding your body out in every direction.
Can you feel the vast volume of space that this space takes up all around your body?
Now,
Imagine your body and the space it takes up floating in this infinite space.
Now,
Focus your attention on the space in the center of your chest in space.
Can you feel the volume of space that this space takes up in space?
Gently focus on your heart space in whatever way works for you.
For example,
You could imagine tracing circles around your heart until it tingles.
Or,
You could envision the color green swirling and expanding from your heart space.
Remember,
Where you place your attention is where you place your energy.
By activating your heart,
You are activating the bridge between your body and the unified field where all possibilities exist.
Continue to rest your attention in your heart space for the next few minutes as you breathe slowly and rhythmically.
Allow your breath to begin to fade into the background as you rest your attention in the center of the chest in space.
There's nowhere else you need to be and nothing else you need to do right now.
If you notice your mind wanders,
That's okay.
Gently return your attention back to resting in the space in the center of your chest in space.
And now do this for the next few minutes.
Next,
While you are resting your attention in your heart space,
I invite you to begin to cultivate strong positive emotions.
Feelings of gratitude,
Joy,
Thankfulness,
Love,
Kindness,
Appreciation,
Or care.
Perhaps there are particular memories that resonate with you today for one or more of these feelings.
Thinking about a person you love,
A pet that you are grateful for,
Or a friend you appreciate.
Really feel these positive emotions as you continue to rest your attention in your heart space.
Do this for the next few minutes while building these strong positive feelings in your heart.
Focus on these feelings and amplify this energy with your heart.
Become aware that this energy is part of you and all around you.
Really feel this positive emotion overflowing from your heart and energizing your entire body.
Now,
Set an intention.
It can be a thought or intention that your heart truly longs for or that simply will make your day great.
Envision the outcome and most importantly the way you will feel in that future moment.
Once you're clear,
Radiate that intention with your energy out into the universe.
To create a new reality,
You must combine thought with emotion to energize the field.
Continue to broadcast your elevated signal out into space for the next few minutes.
And finally,
Slowly relax completely and surrender your intention to the unified field of energy all around you.
Let's leave it up to the universe to sort things out.
Allow your body,
Your mind,
And your energy to integrate fully as you rest quietly in gentle awareness making no effort whatsoever until I ring the chimes.
And now,
Let's take a long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And let that go.
And let's do that one more time.
Long,
Slow,
Deep breath in.
And release.
And when you're ready,
You can start to bring your awareness back into your physical body.
You can begin to wiggle your fingers,
Wiggle your toes,
And when it feels comfortable,
You can slowly open your eyes.
With your intention now set,
You're ready for the day.
