Floating Into Sleep: 10 Hrs Night Meditation + Waves Sounds
Floating Into Sleep is a gentle bedtime meditation designed to help you unwind, release the day, and drift naturally into deep rest. Through calming imagery and slow, soothing guidance, you’ll be invited to imagine yourself floating peacefully on quiet water, allowing the body to soften, the breath to slow, and the mind to settle without effort. After the 40 mins guided meditation, the sound of soft ocean waves continues for the rest of the 10 hours, creating a steady, comforting soundscape to accompany you throughout the night, so you can relax knowing there is nothing you need to do. Just let yourself be supported and carried into sleep.

I will gently guide you to deep relaxation and a restorative natural sleep with 30 minutes of guided practice and a soft music and after that a soft steady sound of ocean waves will remain till the morning and you can simply let everything unfold naturally while you rest.
When you are ready,
On your bed if you like,
You can gently close your eyes now or later when it feels right for you.
There is no need to force anything,
There is nothing to achieve here,
Nothing to do well,
Nothing to follow closely,
You don't need to listen to every word,
These words can simply remain in the background.
Now that you are here you can stop holding the day together.
The day is over and your nervous system knows that even if the mind is still catching up.
If there are thoughts and sensations that's not a problem.
If you wish bring your attention to your breath,
Breathe in slowly and then breathe out.
If it feels comfortable you may inhale through the nose counting slowly to four and then exhale through the mouth counting slowly to six.
Imagine each inhale like a wave that rise and each exhale like a wave that softly falls,
There is no need to visualize this perfectly,
Anything that comes is fine,
What matters is simply noticing the calm rhythm of your breath,
Like quiet waves moving on their own.
As you continue to breathe gently bring your attention to your feet.
Imagine they are softly touched by ocean water at the temperature that feels best for you.
Let the water gently surround your feet,
Then slowly rise to your calves.
As it moves upward it relaxes everything it touches.
The water reaches your knees,
Then your thighs,
Softening muscles,
Releasing effort.
You don't need to see everything clearly,
It is enough to sense the relaxation spreading.
The water continues upward,
Reaching the abdomen,
The chest,
The shoulders.
It flows down the arms all the way to the fingertips.
Each muscle gradually melts as if every drop of water were absorbing stress and tension.
The water now reaches the neck and if you like at the face and the forehead.
These areas are allowed to let go of any remaining holding,
Any subtle contraction.
As the water continues to rise you may notice that it naturally stops at a level that feels just right for you.
There is no need to decide where.
It simply settles where your body feels most comfortable.
You can trust that.
From here you don't need to move anywhere,
You don't need to do anything.
You can simply allow your body to float.
You may imagine yourself gently floating on your back,
Supported by the water.
And if it feels more reassuring you can imagine a soft floating support beneath you,
Holding you effortlessly and safely.
Your body is carried with your weight completely.
There is nothing you need to hold,
Nothing you need to control.
Above you the night sky opens wide.
You may see or sense the presence of stars scattered softly across the darkness.
You don't need to look for them,
They are simply there.
The water beneath you moves slowly,
Almost imperceptibly,
Rocking you with a calm,
Steady rhythm,
A gentle swaying back and forth,
Just enough to remind your body that it is safe to let go.
You may notice the soft sound of the water around you,
A steady soothing rhythm that does not demand attention.
Your body begins to move with the water,
Your breath moves with the water,
Everything slows.
You can allow yourself to be gently rocked by the water,
No destination,
No effort,
Just a steady reassuring motion.
With each slow movement your body sinks a little deeper into rest.
With each gentle sway your system lets go a little more.
Just floating,
Just being carried.
And whenever the mind drifts,
It can drift like the water itself,
Slow and unhurried,
While you remain supported,
Gently rocked,
Allowing sleep to come in its own time.
