Hello and welcome.

Just get yourself comfortable either sitting up straight or lying down and I invite you to just gently close your eyes and just slowly feel your head,

Shoulders,

Belly,

And full body slowly relaxing and letting go and when you're ready we'll just do a nice deep breath in through your nose and a nice slow exhale out.

Again at your own pace just a nice deep inhale in through the nose expanding the belly and a nice slow exhale out.

And last time a nice deep inhale in through the nose and a nice slow exhale out.

Now I know the day ahead might feel a bit scary sometimes but you're so strong and smart and there's nothing you can't handle so I just want you to imagine a warm glowing light right in the middle of your chest.

With every breath in this light grows a little brighter and warmer.

This is your calm center,

The safe peaceful place inside of you that's always there even when the world feels a bit stressful or even scary.

Feel your body relaxing and getting even calmer as the bright warm light spreads all around your body creating a protective shell.

If any worries or anxious thoughts come up we'll just imagine putting them into tiny bubbles in your mind.

Just watch each bubble float up and away into the sky getting smaller and smaller until they disappear.

You don't have to fight your worries or get lost in them.

Just let them drift away maybe even popping a few of the unhelpful thought bubbles if you like.

No pressure.

Now just take a moment to think of something that makes you feel strong and proud.

Maybe a time you learned something new,

Helped a friend or just got through a tough day.

Feel that strength in your chest just like the glowing light and just gently put your hands on your heart and silently say to yourself,

I am calm,

I am strong,

I can handle today.

We'll just take one last deep breath in and a nice slow exhale out.

When you're ready just wiggle your fingers and toes.

Give yourself a nice big stretch and gently open your eyes.

Carry this calm and strength with you into the day ahead knowing your calm center is always inside of you waiting and protecting whenever you need it.

You've got this.
