This meditation is guided and inspired by and for the heart chakra, or Anahata, as it is known in Sanskrit. Anahata literally means unhurt, unstruck, unbeaten—it is a place of purity and it refers to the heart chakra being the still point in the center of our being, a place which the seed sound of the Universe exists within us, the sound of ohm. This spiritual practice is guided by Zemirah Jazwierska; she also plays crystal singing bowls on this track.

This is a guided meditation inspired by and for the Heart Chakra,

Or Anahata as it is known in Sanskrit.

Anahata literally means unhurt,

Unstruck,

Unbeaten.

It is a place of purity within us and it refers to the Heart Chakra being the still point in the center of our being,

A place which the seed sound of the universe exists within us,

The sound of Om.

In the Sufi tradition,

The heart is seen as the altar of God,

The altar of Spirit.

It is associated with love and the color green.

Love is a unifying force drawing things together as this energy center serves as the bridge point between the lower chakras and the upper chakras.

Chakra means wheel in Sanskrit so these are centers of energy that move in a wheel-like circular fashion.

The Heart Chakra is the place where the physical and the spiritual meet and connect.

Physically,

The Heart Chakra creates harmonious energy for the heart,

Lungs,

And the thymus gland.

When balanced,

You feel a sense of well-being,

A coming home to yourself,

A depth of self-acceptance,

Unconditional love,

And a sense of equanimity.

And spending time in meditation within the Heart Chakra,

It is possible to experience and move beyond the level of emotion,

Beyond the level of the senses,

To merge with and be absorbed into experiencing love as a state of being,

A sense of eternal love.

It is the place where we experience the still point within us.

If this energy center of the heart becomes unbalanced,

It can feel as if you have walled yourself off into a cave of aloneness.

Some effects of the blocks within the heart center can look like feeling lonely,

Struggling to trust others,

Fears of intimacy or closeness,

And a sense of holding onto resentments and grievances,

Of becoming overly defensive and judgmental.

As we move into meditation,

The intention is to open the heart center by balancing the energy around it.

Our intention is also to deepen your sense of the heart as a sanctuary,

A home,

A place of gentleness,

Compassion,

Empathy,

Love,

To feel a nurturing presence.

The sound frequencies of the alchemy crystal bowls have been chosen specially to nourish and support connecting with the Anahata Heart Chakra.

These bowls resonate with the energies of the heart.

As we begin the meditation,

I will play an F sharp note,

Which is balancing for the thymus gland and that entire heart region.

So now begin to settle in and turn your attention to your breath.

Begin to imagine that you are breathing in and out through your heart center as I play this F sharp note,

Which is balancing for the thymus gland and the entire heart region.

Breathing in and out through your heart.

Begin to imagine a pinpoint of green light in the center of your heart.

As you breathe,

This gently pulsing green light begins to grow brighter and wider,

Becoming and expanding with each breath that you take.

The light begins to rotate in a circular wheel-like fashion,

Moving and turning,

Cleansing and balancing.

As it is rotating,

It radiates a sense of warmth,

A sense of safety,

A sense of gentle compassion and love.

Breathing in and out through your heart,

Allowing the tones of the crystal bowls to wash over you,

Feeling a deep sense of spiritual connection,

A sense of sacred nourishment,

Sensing your connection to the intricate web of life.

Breathing in and out through your heart,

Feeling a deep sense of spiritual connection,

A sense of veterans.

Sunging how all is bound together by love,

This wheel of green light continues to turn to grow.

This wheel of green light expanding and nourishing.

Feeling a sense of love as a state of being.

Balancing.

Feeling a sense of love as a state of being.

This wheel of green light expands,

Feeling how it balances.

Expanding to balance the lower chakras.

Expanding to balance the upper chakras.

All bathed in green light.

Allow this radiating love to liberate and free,

To cleanse any stuck thoughts,

Any blockages of energy,

Any sense of negativity.

The space around your heart is bathed in pure green light.

Keep the existance above each other.

You you As you rest in this heart space,

Feeling the sound washing over you.

.

.

As you continue to breathe,

Your heart space is expanded.

Feeling a sense of freedom and equanimity that deepens and grows and anchors within the heart.

As you continue to breathe,

Your heart space is expanded.

As you continue to breathe,

Your heart space is expanded.

Basking in this sense of feeling nurtured and supported,

Begin to draw into your experience a sense of gratitude.

As you breathe in and out through the heart,

Deepen in this sense of gratitude.

Feeling the gratitude rating out from your heart center.

Feeling the entire heart space.

Causing kindness,

You you you bringing your awareness back into the heart begin to allow your breath to direct your attention back into the body feeling gravity holding you feeling gravity supporting you and with two more breaths begin to release this meditation and return your attention back to the present moment
