This is a meditation for peace.
I invite you to sit comfortably in your favorite chair or wherever you feel the most comfortable.
Interlace your hands and close your eyes.
Feel your breath move in and out.
Feel your breath,
Feeling it pour into you.
Feeling it pour out of you.
Feeling the movement like a wave in and out.
And continue these deep breaths,
Pulling air in and pushing air out.
Let it feel organic and natural.
You don't have to do anything right now or be anyone.
Just relax.
You can be fully you and that is enough.
Now imagine roots going down through your legs and out your feet all the way down into the earth connecting with the vibrant green mother earth.
Feel her support come up through your feet.
The strength of all the oceans flowing up through your legs.
Knowing she takes care of you at all times.
Feeling her support in the lower half of your body coming all the way up to your abdomen or solar plexus.
Now imagine the stars above you twinkling like little diamonds splashed across the sky.
Imagine them raining rays of light upon you.
Gently coming down through your head all the way down through your chest into your stomach at the solar plexus where it meets the energy from mother earth.
Imagine this light from father sky filling you up with infinite possibilities and knowing that anything your heart desires is possible.
Feel these energies mixing in your body with a surge of love and light.
Imagine these energies going from your head all the way down to your toes mixing beautifully and organically.
Breathe in,
Breathe out,
Coming back to your breath.
No need to force it just notice your inhale and your exhale.
Imagine the feeling of love emanating out of your heart.
Feel it centered in your heart.
Notice what color it is and then imagine it getting bigger and bigger.
Spreading out through your chest and up through your throat feeling it all the way to the top of your head and back down through your neck.
Imagine this light coming from your heart feeling it all the way to the top of your head and back down through your neck,
Across your shoulders,
Down your arms and into your hands.
Can you feel the love radiating from your hands?
Really focus on your hands and what they might be feeling physically in this moment.
See if you can feel any kind of energy radiating off of them pulsing with light like a superhero.
This love,
This energy is your superpower.
Feel it come back up your arms spreading from your heart through to your ribs,
Your stomach,
Down through your hips,
Your thighs,
Your calves and your feet.
Feel your whole body relax in that amazing feeling of love and peace.
Take a few breaths and sip that feeling in.
Sink deeper into that love,
Into who you really are which is light,
Peace and love.
This is who you truly are without doing anything.
Take your time to feel your true nature.
Imagine you're in a room sitting in the most comfortable plush armchair.
It's your favorite color and your favorite music is playing.
Hear it drifting on by.
You are warm and cozy perhaps sitting in front of a fireplace or looking up through a roof of windows to see the stars above.
You are free,
You are safe and you are loved.
There is nothing to do but be you.
Look around the room and realize you just heard your dog walking by.
See his or her face.
Feel the warmth of an animal who has no judgments and adores you.
Look further around the room and realize that this place is in your heart and you can come back to this room anytime that you need peace.
Back to this place where you are loved no matter what.
Even when you're walking down the street or in class or at home,
You can come back to this beautiful room and feel safe and loved and divinely protected.
Take a few deep breaths in and out.
In and out.
In and out.
In and out.
