All right,
So let's check in.
You know,
Sometimes we move through our days on autopilot.
We wake up,
Answer messages,
We scroll a little,
Work a little,
Eat something because it's time,
And then before we know it,
The day's almost over.
And it's possible to go hours,
Even days,
Without asking ourselves one simple question.
How am I,
Really?
So let's take a moment to ask it now.
There's nothing that you need to fix,
Nothing that you need to change.
Just notice right now,
Wherever you are.
Take a slow,
Comfortable breath in.
And let it gently fall away.
How's your body feel right now?
Their attention.
May be asking for your attention.
Maybe a place that feels relaxed or at ease.
No changes need to be made right now,
Nothing to fix,
We're just noticing.
Noticing the mind.
Is it busy?
Quiet.
Planning or replaying.
Whatever you find is okay.
You're not taking inventory to judge yourself.
You're just simply getting reacquainted with this moment.
About the heart.
Is there joy?
Frustration.
Maybe you're carrying something that you haven't had time to acknowledge yet.
Just take a breath and.
.
.
See if you can make space for all of it.
Sometimes the most caring thing that we can do is simply stop long enough to notice what's already there.
And the more often we check in with ourselves,
The less likely we are to drift too far away from who we are.
Awareness isn't about having the perfect answer.
It's just about staying connected.
John Kabat-Zinn once said,
You can't stop the waves,
But you can learn to surf.
And today,
Right now.
You took a moment to notice the waves.
See if maybe that's enough for now.
Thank you so much for joining me.
