The solar plexus chakra, or manipura in sanskrit is is associated with our physical centre, our personal power inner-strength, emotions and gut instinct. In this affirmation meditation you will hear and repeat affirmations realting to a balanced solar plexus chakra with the invitation to journal afterwards and explore your own feelings around the affirmations and how they resonate for you.

Welcome to this guided meditation for the solar plexus chakra.

Our solar plexus really governs everything at the root of who we are,

The core of ourselves.

It's to do with our self-confidence and our sense of self.

Today we will be working with the affirmations later on in the meditation.

When I repeat them to you,

Just simply repeat them in your head to yourself and notice what comes up for you.

At the end of the meditation after the affirmations,

There will be a few minutes of quiet reflection.

During this time,

You can simply focus in on your breath or maybe come back and dig a little bit deeper into the affirmations that really stood out for you.

Let's begin by getting comfortable.

So either in a seated position,

Sitting up with a nice long spine,

Cross-legged or however is comfortable for you,

Or if you'd rather lie down,

That's absolutely fine too.

Just find somewhere where you can be completely comfortable and focus on your breath and the sound of my voice.

Simply closing your eyes or softening your gaze,

Starting to breathe in and out through your nose.

So just simply notice the breath to begin with,

Noticing how fast or slow it is,

Whether it's traveling to your chest or all the way down to your tummy.

Then trying to draw the breath a little bit deeper.

So breathing deeply all the way down to the tummy,

Inhaling fully,

Exhaling fully,

Creating a nice slow,

Even inhale and exhale.

And while you're focusing in on your breath,

Just drawing your attention to your navel,

To the point where your solar plexus chakra would be,

Right above your belly button.

Imagine there's a glowing yellow light.

With every inhale that you take,

Imagine that light growing brighter and stronger.

Imagine the energy in your body flowing through that yellow light.

Notice as you look a little bit closer that it's spinning.

As you inhale,

The energy travels down to the chakra and it glows a little bit brighter.

There's your chakra glowing perfectly balanced.

Imagine the color yellow in mind and your breath steady.

Just repeat yourself the following affirmations.

I'll repeat each one a number of times and then at the end,

You'll have space of silence before you hear my voice to bring you back.

I am comfortable in my body.

I respect myself and others.

It is safe to express my feelings.

I believe in myself and my potential.

I welcome joy and abundance into my life.

My possibilities are endless.

I use my power for good.

I am motivated to pursue my true purpose.

I am comfortable in my body.

I respect myself and others.

It is safe to express my feelings.

I believe in myself and my potential.

I welcome joy and abundance into my life.

My possibilities are endless.

I use my power for good.
