The foundation of a healthy ego that allows us to interact with the world authentically and confidently, building healthy relationships. Simply listen to the affirmations, repeating to yourself in your mind, and note how they make you feel - using them as a tool for self-inquiry.

Welcome to this guided meditation for the sacral chakra.

Our sacral chakra deals with our creativity,

Our personal power and our intimacy and relationships.

In this meditation I'm going to take you through a little bit of a visualization of the chakra and then into some affirmations.

All you need to do for this is just simply find somewhere comfortable to sit or lie down.

If you're sitting just try and sit comfortably with a nice long spine.

Gently closing your eyes.

Just starting to breathe in and out through the nose.

We'll start by simply noticing the breath.

So just notice whether your breath is fast or slow.

Where you can feel it in your body.

Can you feel it in your chest or all the way down to your tummy?

And then we'll start to breathe a little bit deeper.

So drawing the breath all the way down to the tummy.

Exhaling fully both in and out through the nose.

And while you're breathing deeply like this I'd like you to imagine an orange ball of light at the location of the sacral chakra.

So just between the belly button and the pelvis imagine you can see a tiny dot of orange light.

With every inhale and exhale you take just notice how the light grows bigger and brighter.

As it grows you notice that it's spinning.

Imagining your sacral chakra spinning a beautiful orange light and it's spinning with ease.

Now just bringing that orange colour to mind throughout your body.

Flooding your whole body with orange light.

And once you've felt the healing power of the light fill your entire body.

Just bringing it back down to the sacral chakra.

An orange spinning ball of energy just below the belly button.

And as we move into the affirmations all you need to do is repeat to yourself in your head the affirmation and just notice what comes up for you.

I'll repeat each affirmation a number of times and then at the end of the meditation there will be a few minutes of silent reflection.

You can either focus in on your breath or maybe reflect on the affirmations that you've heard.

I'll let you know when it's time to come back.
