Welcome to this guided meditation for the Heart Chakra.
Our Heart Chakra is responsible for all areas of love,
Compassion and forgiveness.
In this meditation we'll visualise the chakra and then I will move into some affirmations.
All you need to do to work with these affirmations when we get to them is to simply repeat them to yourself in your head.
And notice what comes up.
I'll repeat each affirmation several times and at the end of the meditation there will be a few minutes of silence.
Time to reflect on the affirmations and how they made you feel or simply to focus in on your breath.
To start just simply find yourself a comfortable position either sitting cross-legged with a nice long spine or you can lie down if you prefer.
Gently closing the eyes and starting to breathe in and out through the nose.
Just take a moment to notice your breath and check in with how you're feeling.
Bring your attention to your heart space.
Just notice how you're feeling.
Is there any tension there,
Any tightness in the chest?
And start to breathe in a little bit deeper.
Drawing breath all the way down to your tummy.
Inhaling and exhaling through the nose creating a nice even inhale and exhale.
Keeping that nice even breath.
Take your attention to that heart space again.
Exactly where your heart chakra resides.
Just imagine that every inhale you take you can see a tiny glowing green light right at your heart center.
With every deep inhale you take the light starts to grow.
It starts to grow brighter and the dot gets a little bit bigger with each breath.
As you draw in with each breath,
Notice that it's getting bigger and spinning.
Imagine that green healing light expanding out from the heart and filling into the rest of the body.
Notice how open and relaxed you feel with every deep breath.
Staying with that even breath will move into the affirmations.
My heart is open to give and receive love.
I deeply and completely love and accept myself.
I choose my thoughts,
Words and actions with love.
I choose to see the good in everyone.
I feel deeply connected to others.
I easily forgive myself and others.
I am grateful for all the blessings in my life.
I am loved and supported always.
