The Hawaiian word ho‘oponopono is built by combining ho‘o (“to make”) and pono (“right”). The word “ho‘oponopono” literally translates into “to make right”. Some interpret it as “correcting a mistake”, or “receiving true forgiveness". This guided meditation is designed to teach the mantra. When it is repeated and attached to emotions, you can heal yourself, others, and your relationships.

Welcome to this guided meditation,

The magic words that will balance your life.

In today's practice,

I'll guide you through an ancient Hawaiian prayer of forgiveness and reconciliation.

Ho'oponopono is powerful and can assist you in self-healing and forgiveness.

It is available for you to practice at any time.

I invite you to find a comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Close your eyes.

Begin to focus on your breath.

Find yourself relaxed.

Now enjoy eight cycles of breath.

That's it.

Okay.

Okay.

Keeping your eyes closed,

I now invite you to repeat the Ho'oponopono mantra.

I love you.

I'm sorry.

Please forgive me.

Thank you.

Repeat this mantra as many times as you'd like.

And when you're ready,

You can bring your hands to heart center.

Bow your head.

Thank yourself for taking the time to practice today.

Thank you for sharing your practice with me today.

Namaste.
