Hello,

This is Michelle.

Thanks for joining me in this 61 Points Blue Star Resting Practice with Yoga Nidra.

This practice is typically practiced in Shavasana,

Which is lying on your back.

However,

Whatever position feels supportive and comfortable for you is fine.

Before we start the practice,

You might want to get a blanket so you will stay warm and comfortable,

And take the time to get settled in.

You might want to pause the recording while you get settled in.

Begin by anchoring your attention into this moment,

Allowing thoughts to settle in the background,

Being present with your body and your breath.

The Blue Star Yoga Nidra practice is a way to bring our mind into this state of Yoga Nidra,

A state of calm,

Relaxation,

And alertness.

In this practice,

All we do is follow from one point to the next,

Being guided by my voice.

If you notice that you get lost in thoughts during the practice,

This is not a problem.

Just return to the practice and join us where we are.

If you have a visual mind,

You could visualize a blue-white star at each point as we go through the practice,

Allowing the light of that blue-white light to radiate out through the area.

If you don't tend to have a visual mind,

That's okay.

Just allow whatever experience comes up at the points as we move through.

This is fine.

Let's begin.

Bring your attention to the whole of your body,

From heads to toes,

Including the physical space around your body.

Noticing that the body is breathing.

We begin in the eyebrow center,

The space behind the forehead just above the physical eyebrows,

Allowing your attention to move from point to point.

Expand your awareness to include the whole of your body.

The 61 blue stars.

Allowing that light to fill up the whole entire space through the subtle body,

The chakras,

The joints,

The tips of the fingers and toes.

Awareness.

Awareness of the whole entire body filled with radiant blue-white light.

Then let your awareness rest in your heart center.

Holding awareness of the blue-white light from the 61 points.

Notice the body breathing.

Bring awareness to the eyebrow center.

Moving to the throat center.

Then moving to the heart center.

Rest your awareness in your heart center.

Stillness.

Mind to rest in the calm in the heart.

Awake with deep stillness.

Sinking below the level of thought into the heart center.

Resting in stillness of the heart center.

Deep resting in the heart center.

If you've noticed that the mind has wandered into thought,

Just gently bring it back.

Resting in the heart center.

On your next inhale,

Bring awareness from the heart center to the throat center,

Into the eyebrow center.

Breathing into the eyebrow center.

Reconnecting to the whole of your body and breath.

The body breathing in and breathing out.

And when you are ready,

Invite movement to your fingers and toes.

And open your eyes.

Thank you for joining me in this practice.

Be well.
