So this meditation,

We're going to be becoming aware of our thoughts and settling into peace.

So I want you to sit in a comfortable position and close your eyes if that feels comfortable.

Start taking a nice slow breath in with a slow exhale.

I want you to do that again.

Breathe in and this time on the exhale,

Sigh it out,

Releasing tension and stress.

Do two more breaths like that,

Sighing it out,

Releasing tension and stress.

And one more.

And just let your breath go back to normal,

Releasing tension in your neck,

Shoulders and face.

As we do this meditation,

I want you to remind yourself that we have lots of thoughts and they are not all true.

And our thoughts create feelings in our bodies.

And that when we start to manage our thoughts,

It changes how we feel and how we act.

And just take a nice breath,

Releasing tension.

And know that we can't always choose our first thought,

But we can choose our next.

I want you to imagine yourself in a place that feels peaceful.

Maybe it's a beach,

A forest,

A hike,

A room in your house.

And just picture that place.

What do you see around you?

Are there any sounds?

Any smells?

Are you feeling any sensations like soft grass,

Warm sunlight?

And just take a nice breath,

Slow exhale,

Really immersing yourself in this peaceful place.

Now,

As you're in this peaceful place,

I want you to gently bring your awareness to your mind and allow just one thought to come up that steals your peace or adds stress.

And with just that one thought,

Notice it,

Observe it without judgment,

But don't hold it tight to you.

And on your next exhale,

Breathe out that thought and imagine it drifting away from you.

It floats further and further.

And relax your shoulders,

Your chest,

And your body.

And continue to see that thought drift further and further away till you can't see it anymore.

And then take an inhale,

Coming back to that peaceful place.

The sights,

The smells,

The sounds,

The sensations,

Breathing in peace to your body and calm because you are here right now,

Right now,

And you're safe.

I want you to do this with one more thought.

Allow one more thought to come up that steals your peace or adds stress.

Just see it,

Don't judge it.

And then on that exhale,

Release tension in your body and allow that thought to float away.

Let it float further and further away,

Releasing tension in your body,

Knowing that it's just a thought.

And then inhale peace and calm and come back to that place that brings you peace.

And in this moment,

Repeat after me,

I am safe.

I'm choosing peace.

I'm choosing my thoughts.

And take a nice deep breath,

Slow exhale,

Letting your body melt,

Releasing tension.

Repeating after me,

I can change my thoughts at any time and I choose peace.

And slowly just bring yourself back to this present moment,

You can wiggle your fingers and toes.

I want you to carry this peaceful energy with you while giving yourself kindness and compassion because it can be hard to choose and to change our thoughts,

But allow yourself to come back through this throughout the day with kindness.

All right,

Friends,

I hope you guys have a wonderful day.
