Let's jump in to today's session.
Welcome to Day 10 of the Self-Belief Challenge.
First,
Take a moment to recognize yourself for being here.
Ten days of showing up is not simple,
And it matters.
Along the way,
You've met your critic,
Practiced compassion,
Rewritten old stories,
And begun trusting your voice.
And today,
We bring it all together with the deepest form of self-belief,
Learning to stand beside yourself as your own ally.
So to begin today,
Start to find a position where you feel supported.
Let your body soften into the stillness,
Feeling the heaviness of the lower body as it sinks.
Let your eyes be heavy and eventually close.
And from here,
Start to connect to the breath.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Breathing in and breathing out.
And as the body begins to soften,
As the breath begins to feel light,
Let the mind begin to let go of any thoughts.
And from here,
Begin to take a moment to imagine a path opening in front of you.
And as you begin to walk down this path,
At the end,
You see someone walking toward you.
And with each step,
As you come closer and closer to this person,
You begin to realize that it's you,
But a different version of you.
This is a future version of you.
The version of you that has lived through the doubts,
The challenges,
And the noise of the inner critic.
And they have made it through.
As this future version of you comes face-to-face with you,
Start to notice how they carry themselves.
The steadiness in their eyes.
The way they hold both strength and kindness.
This is you,
With years of practice and standing by your own side.
Now,
See this future self approach you and begin to feel their presence.
Loyal,
Grounded,
Unshakable.
They know your struggles,
Your hopes,
Your fears.
They see it all so clearly.
Start to imagine them placing a hand on your shoulder.
Looking into your eyes with complete recognition.
You can sense a message in their gaze.
I am here for you.
I always will be.
Just take a moment to breathe in that connection.
Let yourself feel what it's like to be supported by your own presence.
To know that you are not alone inside yourself.
That you are the one in your corner,
Fighting for your own well-being.
Seeing your worth,
Even when it's hard for you to see it.
Rest here for a few breaths.
Simply receiving this steady companionship.
Let yourself take in the feeling of being met,
Understood,
And backed fully by the truest version of you.
Now,
When you're ready,
Begin to imagine your future self slowly stepping back or turning down the path,
But leaving you with a deep knowing that ally is always within reach.
Always part of you.
And as you watch them walk away,
Continue to feel them within you,
Starting to return back to the space.
Noticing the sounds within the room.
With an inhale through the nose,
Noticing any smells.
With a gentle swallow,
Noticing taste.
Bringing your hands together in front of you,
Noticing touch.
And then when it feels right and safe to do so,
If your eyes have been shut,
Go ahead and flutter them open,
Taking the space around you,
Coming back to this moment.
Noticing everything there is,
Still holding on to that closeness.
As we close today,
Remember this.
Being your own ally doesn't mean perfection.
It means presence,
Loyalty,
And kindness towards yourself,
Especially when life gets hard.
As we end today and begin to end this challenge,
I want to invite you to share one final thing in the forum.
Perhaps writing down one promise that I'm making to myself as I leave this challenge is,
Maybe it's to be kinder to yourself.
Maybe it's to accept yourself.
Maybe it's to stop needing perfection in order to feel good.
