Thank you for practicing with me today.
Find a comfortable seat,
Open your palms to the sky,
And close your eyes when you're ready.
Let's begin by grounding ourselves into the rhythm of our bodies.
Tune into the natural ebb and flow of your breath.
Draw in a deep breath now all the way from your toes into an expanding belly.
And back out through the earth again.
And on this last one,
Release any thoughts of the past and the future.
And settle in the present.
Continue sitting in this space that you've created for yourself.
Our creative practice is linked with who we are.
And who we are is not a static definition,
But a process,
An action.
We all face daily challenges that can pull on,
Weaken,
And break this link between ourselves and what we express.
In meditation,
We strengthen our awareness of our mind's behavior.
We seek to harmonize with the complex,
Evolving nature of our identity.
And we care for ourselves with intention,
Love,
And gratitude.
So let's sit together for some time,
Paying attention to where our mind is at.
