This practice is for you to listen to during the day when you need a short lift up and boost of energy.
I hope that you are settling in comfortably in whatever position that you choose.
If you can,
Release your body from holding you,
Find a surface,
A place or some support that will hold your body for you for just a little bit.
If you can't,
That's ok as well.
Start this practice from taking a deep breath in,
Exhale through your nose and inhale again deeply through your nose and empty the air through your nose again.
Continue breathing in a rhythm that feels comfortable for you and begin to find the parts of your body that need your attention the most right now.
Be very mindful.
Right now,
In this very moment,
You are making sure to give your full attention to them.
Ask yourself,
Where in my body right now do I feel tension?
Which part of my body is asking to be looked after?
Where am I holding my energy and which part of my body I hold trapped or tight?
Don't try to change anything,
Let it be,
Just focus your attention on the areas that need you to look at them.
Gently breathe through those parts of your body,
Focusing your breaths,
Directing them into the parts of your body that need it the most.
If you find this easier,
Imagine a bright,
Warm ball of energy floating through your body as you inhale and leaving a soft trace after itself as you exhale.
Right now is about you,
As you stay in your comfortable position,
Rock your head slightly from side to side,
Just enough to feel the presence,
To feel your muscles being alive,
Supporting you,
Feel your neck,
Your shoulders,
The rest of your body reacting,
Waiting in anticipation as you lightly rock your head from side to side.
Breathe deeply,
Let yourself being consumed by the breath,
Can you feel it?
Try to stay still for a little bit,
Compare it to the sensation of movement,
Which one makes you feel more present,
Which one makes your body feel full of energy and life.
And now I want you to imagine beautiful,
Huge wave of light washing over you,
Starting at the top of your head and flowing all the way across to the bottom of your feet.
It washes right through you,
Leaving all the worries,
All the tension behind,
And all the little tension,
All the energy that you don't benefit from anymore is gone.
It's your choice how to release it.
With the next deep breath in through your nose and slow,
Soft exhale through your nose,
You will find yourself shedding a layer,
Breath after breath,
Renewing ourselves,
Making ourselves the way we want to be seen,
The way we want to feel.
As you're settling back into your body,
Coming out of this meditation,
Feel the gratitude of finding this time for yourself,
Bringing your body,
Your mind and your spirit into this safe space.
You can come back here anytime,
You can come back to this feeling of presence,
Letting go.
