Welcome to this guided meditation where we will focus on relaxing the physical body,

Calming the mind,

And becoming aware of the energy body.

In this meditation practice,

There is nothing to do but rest,

Listen,

Heal,

And transform within every level of your being.

Lie down or find a supportive sitting position.

Let your body get comfortable.

Shift and move to feel your body's closeness to the earth.

Take a deep breath in and as you exhale,

Relax your whole body.

Breathe in and breathe out.

Feel sensation in your body and listen.

Your mind will wander.

You will not hear everything I say.

It is natural to flow in and out of conscious hearing.

The deepest part of you is always listening.

There is no way to do this wrong.

Simply listen without trying too hard.

Allow earth to hold you now.

You are in a safe environment,

A protected space.

Come into stillness and remain still for deep rest.

Feel your breath flowing through you.

Feel the weight of your body sink into the earth.

Allow your bones to become heavy.

Feel your bones heavy and sinking into the earth.

Shift your mind to what is happening inside your body to notice your heart's deepest longing.

What does your heart desire?

Create a sankalpa,

An affirmation based on your heart's longing.

This is a positive statement in the present tense.

Keep it simple.

For example,

I am here now.

I am relaxed and at peace.

I am loved and supported.

Create your sankalpa,

Your positive affirmation and state it three times silently to yourself as though it is already happening.

It is the truth.

Allow your awareness to travel through your body on a journey of sensation.

Simply feel each body part as it is mentioned and without moving.

Welcome all sensations just as it is.

Imagine your body softening,

Settling,

Unfolding into this moment.

Begin with the mouth.

Feel your mouth.

Feel sensations in and around your mouth.

Feel your jaw,

Lips,

Upper lip and lower lip.

Notice where the lips touch.

Feel the inside of your mouth,

Roof of mouth,

Upper teeth,

Lower teeth,

Gums and tongue.

Notice sense of taste in the mouth.

Feel the left inner cheek and right inner cheek.

Now feel all the parts together as a whole.

Feel your mouth as sensation,

Energy and vibration.

Feel your nose.

Notice the nostrils.

Left nostril,

Right nostril,

Both nostrils.

Notice the breath flowing in and out of both nasal passages.

Follow your nasal passages all the way back into your head and down towards your throat.

Notice sense of smell and the easeful flow of breath in and out of your lungs.

Now become aware of your ears.

Right ear,

Left ear,

Both ears.

Feel the wrinkles and folds of your ears,

Back of the ears,

Earlobes and ear canals.

Follow ear canals into the spiraled inner ear.

Notice your ears receiving sound.

Feel your ears hearing and listening.

Bring awareness to your eyes.

Left eye,

Right eye,

Both eyes.

Notice eyelids and eyelashes.

Become aware of the surface of the eyes,

The center of the eyes.

Feel your eyes now as energy,

Rays of light as each eye which is a finely tuned lens,

Focusing,

Clear,

Radiant visibility.

Bring awareness to the top of your head,

The crown of your head.

Feel your forehead,

Your face,

Your whole head.

Feel your neck,

Back of the neck,

Sides of the neck and throat.

Bring your awareness down into the hands and begin to notice your right palm,

Thumb,

First finger,

Second finger,

Third finger,

Fourth finger.

Feel your whole hand alive with energy.

Feel your right wrist,

Forearm,

Elbow,

Upper arm and whole shoulder.

Bring awareness to your left palm,

Thumb,

First finger,

Second finger,

Third finger,

Fourth finger.

Feel your whole hand alive and filled with sensation.

Feel into your left wrist,

Forearm,

Elbow,

Upper arm and whole shoulder.

Notice the temperature on your skin and the heightened sensation over your whole body.

Become aware of the upper chest,

Upper back,

Shoulder blades and feel into your heart center.

Notice your abdomen,

Ribs and solar plexus expanding with inhale and contracting with exhale.

Feel your belly,

Navel center,

Pelvis and hips.

Feel your right hip,

Thigh,

Knee,

Lower leg,

Ankle,

Foot,

Toes,

Sole of foot.

Feel your whole right foot.

Feel again into the pelvis,

Left hip,

Thigh,

Knee,

Lower leg,

Ankle,

Foot,

Toes,

Sole of foot,

Feel into your whole left foot.

Notice both your feet.

You are grounded and present in your whole body,

Safe to expand in all directions and open into this moment.

Bring your awareness to the length of your spine and allow flowing energy to take you on another journey.

Using your energetic vibration,

Awakening your energy body.

Feel the base of your pelvis.

Imagine a radiant red light pouring into your pelvis,

Extending down hips,

Thighs,

Knees,

Lower legs,

Ankles and feet.

State silently to yourself,

I am here now,

Grounded,

Rooted,

Grateful for all I have.

Connect to the solid earth.

Feel your sacrum,

Sitting bones,

Navel center and low back.

Imagine a warm orange light expanding like the most beautiful sunset.

State silently to yourself,

I am creative,

I nurture relationships and I support myself.

Connect to the flow of water.

Feel into your solar plexus,

Low belly,

Upper belly.

The area just below your ribs and imagine a bright golden yellow light like the sun shining.

State silently to yourself,

I am strong,

I feel confident and courageous in mind and in body.

Connect to the warmth of fire.

Feel into your heart center,

Acknowledging your deepest longing.

Breathe,

Expand,

Fill up your lungs and slowly exhale.

Imagine an emerald green glowing out from the center of your heart.

State silently to yourself,

I am loved,

I am patient and I forgive.

Connect to the air that is all around you.

Feel into your throat center,

Sides of your neck,

The lower jaw,

The upper jaw,

Your cheeks and your mouth.

Imagine a vibrant blue like the spacious open sky.

State silently to yourself,

I speak clearly with care and kindness.

I listen and I am heard.

Connect to sound vibrations within your body and connect to the sound vibrations within the expansive universe.

Feel into the space between the brow,

Your third eye center.

Notice your eyes and your nose.

Imagine a luminous violet light at the curve of a rainbow spectrum.

State silently to yourself,

I trust my inner knowing,

I trust my intuition,

I am wise.

Connect to all light that is visible and invisible within our world.

Feel into the crown of your head and extend your awareness beyond the crown of your head.

Imagine a clear crystalline white light like the thousand-petaled lotus flower blooming on a pond or lake.

State silently to yourself,

I am awake and aware.

I am here now.

Connect to the unknown and surrender into this moment.

Feel into the back of the body resting on the support of your foundation.

Become aware of your whole back body now alive with your balanced energy.

Your spine is strong and long.

Feel the front of your body,

An illuminated heart space.

Feel the right side of your body,

Feel the left side of your body.

Extend your center and feel midline.

Sense your body as whole and complete.

Feel sensation throughout your entire body.

Begin to notice your breath,

Your natural breath as it flows through you.

Feel the expansive quality of the inhale,

Fill your whole complete body.

Exhale and imagine your breath as a wave passing down through your body,

Carrying away tension and stress.

Release what no longer serves you now.

As you inhale again,

A fresh wave of breath flows upward through your whole body,

Bringing a sense of calm into every cell.

Exhale,

Breath wave flows down through your body,

Carrying away any insecurities and restlessness.

Your whole body is complete and balanced.

Now remember your heart's deepest longing,

Your sankalpa,

Your positive affirming statement.

Begin it again three times as the truth.

Notice your back body connected to the earth.

Feel all the places where you touch the ground.

Notice the front body connected to the sky.

Notice all the space surrounding you.

Let your body expand wider into the space that surrounds you.

Notice your breath.

Feel its gentle rhythm and pace.

We are now completing relaxation practice.

If you are drifting off into sleep and intend to continue your slumber,

Rest now and feel deep peace in your mind,

Body,

And heart.

If you are reawakening,

Before moving,

Sense your fingers and toes.

Just imagine them moving.

Now begin to wiggle fingers and toes,

Feeling every sensation as you do.

Circle out your wrists,

Ankles,

Flex into knees,

And elbows.

Touch through your hips and shoulders,

Gently rock your head from side to side,

Reawakening the physical body slowly.

Keeping eyes closed and your energy internal,

Draw a deeper breath into your belly and into your chest.

Shift slowly over to one side,

Right or left,

And pause.

Awaken aware,

Gently press up to a comfortable seated position.

Lengthen your spine,

Inhale,

Followed by exhale.

Transition slowly back into responsibilities,

Your work,

And your life.

May there be peace,

Love,

And light in your body,

Mind,

And in your heart.
