Loving Kindness is a compassionate practice. This gentle audio-guided meditation will help you visualize the love that exists in your heart space. It is meant to promote a sense of loving awareness within yourself, towards others, and beyond. This is my gift to you, a valentine of self love and self care.

Transcript

Lie down or find a comfortable seat.

Surrender the weight of your body into the earth.

Close your eyes.

Relax the muscles in your face.

Begin to notice your breath.

Inhale followed by exhale.

Find an even rhythm to your breath without any force.

Allow each breath to move through you effortlessly.

Place your left hand over your heart space and your right hand over your lower abdomen.

Feel the movement of your breath rise and fall within your body.

Begin to connect body sensation to your breath.

Observe,

Identify or notice any areas of tension in the body.

Gently feel your head,

Neck,

Shoulders,

Spine,

Hips and pelvis.

Slowly draw your breath into any areas of tension or tightness.

Breathing in and breathing out,

Allow your exhale to let go of these areas of tension or tightness.

Surrender your body and mind.

Begin to undo any activity or effort.

Begin stillness in your physical body and connect to the natural flow of your breath.

Inhale followed by exhale.

Be here now.

Notice the state of your mind,

Calm mind,

Clear mind,

Busy mind or distracted mind.

Simply acknowledge any thoughts,

Ideas or lists and let them go.

Set aside all responsibilities in this moment.

Just breathe and be.

Allow your relaxed body and easeful breath to be your mental anchor.

Turn your mind's eye toward your heart space.

Imagine an infinite boundless energy of love gathering in the center of your heart.

Envision this energy as an emerald green sphere glistening and reflecting all other colors.

Place your awareness inside this sphere and take in all of its healing love.

Imagine this expansive energy surrounding you,

Holding you,

Supporting you.

Soak in its comforting warmth.

May you be filled with loving kindness.

May you be peaceful and at ease.

May you be safe and healthy.

May you be happy and free.

Shining heartlight from the inside out begin to send positive loving energy back into the universe.

May we all be filled with loving kindness.

May we all be peaceful and at ease.

May we all be safe and healthy.

May we all be happy and free.

Love exists within us.

Love for ourselves.

Love for others.

And love within our universe.

Seal in this intention of loving awareness with a deep breath.

And let it be felt by us all.
