Good morning,

Let's meditate.

Start by getting in a comfortable position.

Whether you're sitting in a chair or on the ground,

Make sure that your body is comfortable and your spine can be straight.

Begin by closing your eyes and listening to the sound of your breath.

Just focus on the sound of your inhale and exhale.

In this present moment,

The only thing that exists is your awareness and breath,

So simply dissolve any thoughts or sounds that might be pulling your mind in another direction and gently bring your focus back to your breath if it wanders.

Now,

Just imagine a warm,

Soothing spiral of gold-colored energy appearing over your head.

And inhale that spiral of gold through the top of your head,

Down your body and legs,

And exhale it down into the earth.

And then let that spiral change color into a warm,

Vibrant green,

And inhale it back up your legs and body,

And then exhale it out the top of your head.

And then repeat that breath.

Inhaling a gold spiral down through the body and legs,

Exhaling it into the ground,

Letting it change color,

And then inhaling a green spiral back up through the body,

Exhaling it out the top of your head.

And just repeat that breath now at your own pace for the next few minutes.

Alright?

Balanced breathing.

If your mind wanders,

Just gently bring it back to focus on the colors and the breath moving through your body.

After your next exhalation,

Let the colors fade away and then bring your focus to the center of your chest.

If you're able to,

Place your hands together palm to palm right in front of your heart.

Once again,

Focus on the sound of your inhale and exhale.

As you listen to the sound of your breath,

Let yourself breathe in the energy of your heart and feel the acceptance and compassion that always exists there for you.

And as you focus on your heart,

Just note what you're grateful for this morning.

It can be anything,

A strong cup of coffee or tea,

Your family or job,

A blue sky,

Your solitude,

A raindrop.

Just take a moment and think about what you're most grateful for this morning.

And repeat this affirmation to yourself as you match the words to the length of your inhale and exhale.

On your inhale,

Say to yourself,

My heart soars with gratitude.

On your exhale,

I am awake to this moment.

My heart soars with gratitude.

I am awake to this moment.

My heart soars with gratitude.

I am awake to this moment.

And just say that to yourself a few more times.

Let's end this meditation together with an Aum as you thank yourself for taking the time to meditate this morning.

You can Aum out loud or to yourself.

Let's take a breath.

Aum.

The divine in me acknowledges the divine in you.

Namaste.

Thank you for meditating with me today.

I liked the pacing of this. I appreciated the reminder to refocus on my breathing when my mind had wandered. I liked the color visualization. During the affirmations I had an image of a winged heart fluttering around. Thank you. πŸ’›πŸ’š
