Today we're going to do a meditation to feel calm and wonderful in our mind and body.

So when you're ready,

Sit back and close your eyes.

Now place your hands on your belly so you can feel your belly rise up and down as you take in some deep breaths.

Take in a nice deep breath and feel your belly get very big like a balloon.

Any thoughts or worries or anything that you're thinking about today,

Just let it leave your body as you exhale.

Very good.

Just continue to take nice deep belly breaths as you follow my words.

Now let's imagine ourselves as an adorable kitty cat,

The softest sweetest kitty you can imagine.

You can be whatever color kitty cat you want to be.

Just imagine that now.

Look how cute you are.

Pay close attention to your paws now as you walk along the floor balancing your body.

Your long tail helps you balance perfectly.

Now imagine jumping up on a railing and notice how gracefully you do that and how perfectly you land one paw in front of the other.

It's so fun to be a kitty cat,

Exploring and being adventurous.

Imagine that you've spent the whole day exploring and having fun and now it's time to relax and take a nice afternoon nap.

So look around the room and in the corner of the room you see your special soft bed.

Imagine jumping down from the railing now and walking very gracefully over to your nice warm bed.

As you're making yourself comfortable,

You decide to circle around the bed a few times.

You're just making sure it's nice and perfect to lay down in.

The bed feels so thick and comfy and you need your paws in the bed to make sure it's extra nice.

You turn a few more times to make sure your position will be perfect and then you lay down and get comfortable.

It does feel so soft and cozy here.

You snuggle down deep into your nice soft material of the warm bed and you feel so calm and happy inside that you start purring like little kitties do.

This feels so nice in your body as it vibrates from the top of your head all the way down to your fluffy kitty tail.

The vibrations from the purring feel funny and they feel so good.

They relax you even more.

Stay here for a moment and just enjoy the feeling of peace and calm that fills your entire body.

You roll your body up in a ball and just enjoy this comfortable,

Relaxing,

Wonderful feeling.

It feels so good laying here so cozy in your bed.

And when you're ready,

You can open your eyes and give your body a big,

Giant stretch.

Bring your attention back to your own body now.

Today is going to be a wonderful and amazing day.

You feel the sunshine in your heart as you continue on with this happy,

Peaceful day.

I’m O B S E S S E D with cats. I even pretend to be one, sometimes. (I’m 11, turning 12 on July 3rd.) My dad’s allergic to cats though, so we can’t get one. :( I LOVE this meditation because I get to pretend to be a cat without anyone saying that it was weird. THANK YOU!!!! 🐱🐱🐱🐱
