Hello my name is Melissa and I'm going to guide you through the next couple minutes of quick meditation.
So take a moment now to settle wherever you are.
You may be sitting,
You may be laying down,
You may be standing.
Wherever it is Maybe take a breath and just find some release in the body.
Notice any spot in your body that maybe needs a little more attention to fully relax.
Gently send the breath to any more tense parts of the body.
Let's now do a quick scan through the body.
Sending breath to each part.
Letting your body know that you're here.
Let's start at the crown of the head.
Just send some breath up there.
And then slowly scan down through the face,
Through the back of the head.
Sending your breath now to the throat.
Scanning down to the shoulders,
Through the arms,
The wrists,
The fingers.
Scanning down the chest and the belly and the back.
Just sending your breath to each part of your body.
Now send the breath down through the hips,
Down the legs,
Through the knees,
Down to the ankles and out through the toes.
And now take a moment to return to your breathing.
The sensation of the air coming in and flowing out.
Know that you have the breath anytime you need it.
And let's end on one deep breath together.
Inhale through the nose,
Sigh it out through the mouth.
