I've been reflecting on the concept of a credo,
Something we recently explored in my weekly coaching group led by a wonderful human,
Lou Redmond.
This word comes from the Latin word meaning to believe.
At its heart,
A credo is a statement of what we believe,
What we stand for,
And the impact we hope to create in the world.
A credo can guide your business,
Creative project,
Relationship,
Family,
Or the way you choose to live.
It can be broken down into four parts.
The first part is devotion.
What is this devoted to?
2.
Belief.
What are you taking a stand for?
Three,
Hope.
What do you want to have happen?
What do you hope for?
And for an invitation naming who this might be for.
I felt inspired to share what came through for me and also extend the invite for you to reflect on what your credo might be.
Devotion.
My work is devoted to bringing awareness to the systems,
Conditioning,
And patterns that limit us.
To support greater freedom,
Safety,
And authentic expression for all.
To own what is ours and release what is not.
To truly live what we are learning and bring all of our wisdom into our bodies,
Relationships,
And every aspect of our lives.
My work is raw,
Real,
And deeply rooted in love.
Belief.
I stand for equality,
Justice,
And truth.
I believe in courageous conversations,
Accountability,
And excavating the roots of our individual and collective wounds.
Hope.
My hope is for a world where people trust themselves,
Live authentically,
And create healthier relationships,
Families,
Communities,
And systems that send powerful ripples of healing across generations.
Thanks for your questions.
Invitation.
This work is for those who are ready to question their inherited reality,
Embrace what is true,
And courageously embody a new way of being.
We also explored another question that I really loved.
What movement am I creating?
For me,
It's to question societal norms,
Gender roles,
Family dynamics,
Cultural expectations,
Relationship patterns,
Truly anything that we have been taught.
I want us to bring light to all the places we have been taught not to look.
To move towards what we avoid.
To name what is harmful.
To speak up if we were taught to stay silent.
To refuse to self-abandon to keep others comfortable.
To develop the courage to feel,
To come out of our heads and into our bodies and to trust our deepest knowing.
I believe our capacity to feel is one of the greatest healers of ourselves,
Our relationships,
And our entire family lineage.
I love to hear what this brought up for you.
I'd love to hear what your credo is,
What you stand for,
What movement you're creating.
Sending you so much love.
