Hello,
Today's meditation is going to take us to the ocean.
We're going to visit in our minds.
So if you would like,
You can go ahead and close your eyes and begin to imagine that you are at the ocean.
Picture yourself standing or sitting near the water and begin to make yourself comfortable.
Let go of your daily concerns,
Troubles and worries and just allow yourself to be here with the waves.
Take a deep breath in through your nose and then allow that air to escape back through your nose.
Can you begin to imagine what the ocean looks like?
Can you see its movement,
Shape and color?
How does the ocean sound?
Can you hear the waves rolling onto the shore,
Splashing and crashing?
Can you imagine what the ocean would smell like?
Allow yourself to take a deep breath of the salty ocean air and can you imagine what this air might taste like?
Perhaps the ocean holds special memories for you.
As a child,
Did you swim in the ocean,
Wading in the waves,
Splashing around with the family dog and other little children?
Do you ever feel like time stands still when you're sitting by the ocean?
The ebb and flows of the waves as each set moves in and then moves back out.
Allow yourself to be a little more relaxed,
Softening your forehead,
Softening your shoulders,
Letting your jaw relax and allow the comforting sound and movement,
Repetition of the waves carry you away mentally,
Emotionally and spiritually.
Just notice.
Maybe with time you can begin to feel your very own connection with the ocean as you notice the movement inside of your own body.
Noticing your pulse,
Noticing your heartbeat,
The blood circulation and your breath might all in fact echo the movement of the ocean,
The ebb and the flow,
The in and the out.
Notice the stillness and notice the rhythm and notice the feelings that reside deep within the motion of your own body.
Of course,
In DONfledged,
We have OFF,
Ball,
Portrait and Allow yourself to take the deepest breath in,
Open your mouth and let it all pour out.
And begin to bring yourself back to the space that you are in,
Wiggling your toes and your fingers,
Perhaps giving a nice big stretch up above your head.
And thank you for taking this time to come to the ocean,
Meditating with me.
Have a wonderful day.
